It's their fellow yorubas who live under that bridge. 10 people join money together to rent one room at N25k each per head per year. cry

All of them agberos from the neighbouring O states undecided

Very sad and pathetic life they are living. Please send more of them to the osun state forest reserves but seize their phones first so they won't be able to log into nairaland again cool

Instead of them to be serious at busstops generating IGR for Oluomo they are here dragging Peter obi tongue

Don't be carried away by this smoke screen LASG is putting up they know the real target, this is just a gimmick to show that they are not bias

When the real work starts and they start facing their real target people will say oh! They are not targeting a particular tribe, we know this people.

Did you think you will see igbos to catch and deport? Lol 😆 una go old 🤣

Go back to Osun state where you belong and stop laying claim to Lagos. We will keep deporting non Indigines of Lagos wether from Osun, Ogun , Oyo or Ekiti because they aren't Lagos true sons and daughters.

They left, Akure, Osogbo, Modakeke, etc and want to come and claim Lagos that was built by British colonial tax, North agriculture tax, East trading tax, Niger-Delta oil money and Western cocoa tax. They are even claiming rights over the original indigenes and old families of Eko. Make omo-Ibo comot Lagos and all other Southern tribes and in 10 to 15 years after commerce dries up, it will go down to Ibadan level. So short-sighted due to tribalism.

What Mass Housing program has the Government both at the federal and state level put in place for people to have cheap and descent accommodation?q
How many Mass Housing schemes do we we have in Nigeria?
Most of the federal and state housing estates were built over 50 years ago.
The primary purpose of governance the provision of food, shelter and security.
Government have failed this country.
See them flexing muscle over their own failure.

The current primary purpose 9f government is to tax the poor. They are indeed teaching Peter Obi a lesson.

Lagos is not part of your region, and you people should stop pokenosing on how we run our things in South west

Question remains are you from Lagos state? Don't talk too much o, because you will still be deported

You O states want to behave like Fulani people that when they want to gain a major share or fight the South politically or otherwise they will use the phrase "WE" the Northerners are one but secretly busy ethnic cleansing the North by killing, raping, kidnapping, land grabbing their fellow Northerners

LASG, in recent times don't fancy "WE South West" slogan anymore that you O states are using to rip them up in all aspects, taking everything that belongs to them

Most of the real Lagosians have been relegated to the background by this O states claiming everything to them selves

The real Lagosians are now fully aware and are doing everything to take their land back despite the fact that we all know who their real targets are but just using the O states as a smoke screen

But, till then everybody go collect wotowoto because the real people causing problems in Lagos are the O state disguising as "WE the South West"

Imagine boko haram members living in that enclave planning a ji.had in lag what do you think would have happened. Lets just thank God those residents are ordinary people plus may be ordinary criminals. Upon all the billions govnt is making in Lagos. Its quite sad.

It's so sad to know that in 2024 the Nigerian system is still terrible and pathetic. See the way they are breaking into their rooms like they are criminals. A working brain and system, immediately you heard they paid to live there, first it shows they are low income earners, secondly someone offered them that space which means that person is the offender. Now see how you treat fellow Nigerians inside Nigeria. At least give them a notice of eviction even if you won't provide them an alternative shelter
We are still very way back

I once threatened an aboki loitering around a quiet neighborhood to hand him over to the police if he didn't leave the area.
His response shocked me!
"I'll have somewhere to sleep till tomorrow at police station"

This is the failure of government at federal, state and local government levels.
They even Demolish homes of people who manages to build something for themselves without provision of alternative under the guise of road construction.
A good example is the governor of Oyo state.
Re: Residential Rooms Under Lagos Bridge Where Tenants Pay ₦250k Yearly (Video) by koning: 11:53am On May 09
They are NOT paying N250k. No need for the lady to keep shouting that. No body is that stupid. How much is a room in "Face me i face you" in Lagos. In fact the lady with a new born baby is surely living there free of charge.

With the crippling housing shortage in Lagos, the state govt should stop demolishing houses. The should fine those who build where they are not supposed to build and stop those about to build at the foundation level. Only terribly distressed buildings should be knocked down. In Mende, i saw newly build, strong bungalows being demolished. That is wrong. Let them pay heavy fines to be used for diversion of channels and stop new houses from being built.

THERE IS ACUTE HOUSING SHORTAGE IN LAGOS AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY.

This 250k story is still not clear

Is it 250k per apartment or per group of people

because how can you pay 250k for such a place , no proper toilet, or water system prone to high risk

Since government fail in housing, this one na mass housing project

I don't believe that 250k part. Just 3 of them can combine money and rent a good 3-bedroom apartment so why would they pay such amount to live in this squalor?
