All this politicians are only good in talking but lacks action. Obasanjo that is busy dishing out advice and yet preserve the baddest and the most terriblest road in the whole wide world in his state, Ogun State, the ritualist enclave. This is why I believe all Govs must finish all the projects they start...it should be the LAW. On the flip side, Gov Adeleke is now commissioning projects that the former Gov started and the former Gov's name wont be on the plaque lol. Best Strategy in my opinion - Year 1 - First 3 months _ pick our team, Next 6 months - vision and come up with the plan including funding and all, next 3 months implementation Year 2 and Year 3 - Projects done Year 4 - campaigning and seeing that you meet small small needs of the people. Projects should not go into Year 4....everybody will be too busy to do it well, and it will look like a campaign stunt. So, this is what the Government and Governor of a State has done with money meant for the betterment of the lives of residents of the State? And the residents are happy with it? A VIP Lodge? Why do we even allow our Governors to have and live in Government Houses? Why don't a Governor go to work from his own rented or private accommodations and be reimbursed by paying his/her rent for not more than a three bedroom apartment? Why does a Governor not simply have an office at the State Secretariat? Hmm! There is no coming back for that country. Governance has not just been corrupted deeply, it has been monetized, and for purposes other than that which the State came into existence. There is no coming back for that country because those who are supposed to be the gate keepers of what is right ( the people themselves) have all gone mad or blind or simply have been bought over. In every State all across that damned country. That is if Nigeria can be called a country, since it does not meet a single indicea for the word country. It is a great shame. chisomkachy: |

The only reasonable thing the Governor has done is the Payments of the Retirees in the State! If those two other former Govnrs- Oyebanji- and Aregbesola did that,surely no way for Adeleke. •When you neglect the Retirees - in a State like Osun- where there are large percentages of them,then forget it. • In Nigeria,any govt( Federal and States) that neglect the Retirees will surely meet their waterloo. • The Reasons why Politicians don't care about Retirees is because they steal so much when in Power,but out of Power they are nobody, even when they travel abroad,they are just nobody even in the eateries! |

Now that the state tinubu is no longer taking the state allocation where are the tangible projects and developments? One thing Nigerians have to learn is.. If obidients accuse u of something, that is what they are doing. that strategy is derived from the IPOBidients component of the group.. 2ndly as abysmal as adeleke has been so far.. U will see them support and praise him to heaven like they are doing Otti..
