Are Men worth more than Women in the eyes of God?
Are we all equal in the eyes of the maker? Are baby boys of more value than baby girls before our creator?

Leviticus 27:1-7

1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If anyone makes a special vow to dedicate a person to the Lord by giving the equivalent value,
3 set the value of a male between the ages of twenty and sixty at fifty shekels of silver, according to the sanctuary
4 for a female, set her value at thirty shekels
5 for a person between the ages of five and twenty, set the value of a male at twenty shekels and of a female at ten shekels
6 for a person between one month and five years, set the value of a male at five shekels of silver and that of a female at three shekels of silver;
7 for a person sixty years old or more, set the value of a male at fifteen shekels and of a female at ten shekels

I do not believe that it was God that asked Moses to do this. The God, Jesus presented to me and Christians worldwide will not place value based on gender. He is not sexist, chauvinistic or misogynistic. He is a loving father to all whether male or female!

Gal 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus

Gen 1:27- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Israel was a patriarchal society where boys were generally preferred to girls and this informed many of the writings in the Bible especially the Old Testament! This ideology influenced the writers and authors and the scholars who canonized the Bible . Many of them wrote down things which favoured them and used God as a cover up to establish it!

Jesus who is the true reflection of God and our perfect role model treated women with equal respect to the chagrin of his male followers! He placed them on equal pedestal and showed us the true divine nature which does not discriminate!

Christians must always remember that Christ is the bedrock of Christianity and following His teachings and those of the Apostles in the New Testament is enough for us!

Well, Eve was an afterthought. Also, she was not made directly but from Adam's rib. What do you think?

Men were given the defence/protective and leadership role even in the animal world. So, based on their role, they're more valuable. Also, women were created for the purpose of procreation here on earth. So, there's more value on the leader than the accompanist.

The original intention was never to create a female version, but when the need arose, she was fashioned out of him (Adam) and with ONE purpose "TO ASSIST HIM". One is the original version while the other was created from the original version. (a copy).

Do you not see that when a person does the wrong thing he becomes lower than the others who have not?

When a wife cheats do you not see that everybody, husband, children, house gjrl, gateman become better than her?

You think it is a small thing that woman was the first to disobey God and cause the corruption and death and destruction of the world and man which God created?

There is no man who can make her record!

That is the reason why men have the upper hand.

But nevertheless, a just man is fair and even has pity for his servant.
