Did he live large b4 he died or was he living like a pauper b4 he died. If he lived like a pauper then you can say he died like a chicken but if lived large b4 he died then he died honourable knowing everyone would one day die.

Wealth, health and stealth, I'm heavy on that when I pray to God and that's what I'm going to get.

Antonio Oladeinde Fernandez, billionaire business magnate, diplomat, mining tycoon, Permanent Representative of Central African Republic to the United Nations, is dead.

Deinde Fernandez, as he was popularly known, died on Tuesday in a private hospital in Belgium.

Born in Lagos in 1936 to one of the first European migrants to the city, Mr. Fernadez grew up to become one of Nigeria’s most mysterious and reclusive billionaires with properties in several African countries as well as in Europe and America.

Not much is known about his early days, but in 1982, he was appointed an advisor to the Angolan government on Economic Matters.

Two years later, he became a Deputy Permanent Representative of Mozambique to the United Nations.

In 1992, he was made a Special Adviser to the President of Mozambique on International Economic Matters, a position he held till 1995.

I wonder why the writer chose to align the Late Fernández with those shady characters. The writer didn't not even apply due diligence in the write up,not knowing Fernández is late.

Would have been another name on that least but he comes home. Saw him the other day with Ogun State Governor. Although based abroad but comes home.

Bayo also made his $$ from Naija. His friend Dr Hakeem Belo Osagie was a special adviser to Naija and they went to the same school… connected him to a US company handling LNG project… he got drafted to handle the project because of his Naija background, accounting and law degrees.

Hard to find any Naija rich person who made money without Naija connect.

Seyi Tinubu, Mr Tinubu’s 37-year-old son who has long cornered the outdoor advertising market in Lagos, was said to have bought the property in 2017, according to a report by business outlet Bloomberg.

The medium in a story out Tuesday morning said Seyi used an offshore shell company Aranda Overseas Corporation to close the purchase, which was facilitated through Deutsche Bank. The property is reportedly tucked in an elite neighbourhood in North London.

The report further described the property as a private three-floor residence in St. John’s Wood, equipped with an eight-car driveway, two gardens, electric gates and a gym.

The property had been previously confiscated around 2016 from Kola Aluko, a notorious oil dealer who reportedly connived with former oil minister Diezani Alison-Madueke to fleece Nigeria for nearly half a decade. Shortly after assuming office in May 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari started going after people suspected to have illegally enriched themselves under President Goodluck Jonathan (2010-2015).

Mr Aluko bought the property for about $15 million in 2013, indicating that it was sold four years later for a lower price, an uncommon scenario for such an upmarket neighbourhood.

Bloomberg said it could not immediately find indications that Mr Tinubu, 71, was involved in the purchase, but the affair could nonetheless strengthen critics’ arguments that Mr Buhari was transferring stolen assets he seized from cronies of his predecessor to his own cronies. Mr Tinubu has publicly claimed credit for making Mr Buhari president in 2015, although the Nigerian leader, in a rare pushback last year, said his victory was a collective effort.

Hernandez families came back from Brazil during slavery.. They became huge slave, cocoa, and mineral merchants during colonialism…

Per Kase Lawal, he made his $$$ 100% from Naija thru Rilwan Lukman when Shagari/GMB was the president.

entrepreneur Kase Lawal is the epitome of the American dream. Arriving to the US a young, idealistic student, Lawal has carved a name for himself in one of the most competitive industries in the world: Oil.
Now head of a multi-billion dollar empire, his Houston-based company, CAMAC, is one of the largest black-owned businesses in the U.S., generating over $2 billion dollars a year.
Founded nearly 25 years ago, Lawal built CAMAC (which stands for Cameroon-American) from a small agriculture business into a global oil company. But it's taken a lot of hard work, determination and guts to get him to the top.
Born and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria in 1954, Lawal became interested in America and its civil rights movement during his teens. After finally persuading his father, a local politician, to send him to university in America, Lawal headed to Georgia and then Houston, where he attended the Texas Southern University.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 1976, Lawal, like many of his classmates, started out as a graduate in the energy industry. First as a chemist for Dresser Industries (now Halliburton) and then as a chemical engineer with Shell Oil Refining Co.

During this time he met his wife, Eileen through a mutual friend and had his three children.
Now married and settled, it wasn't long before the innovative young Nigerian started to implement his business ideas.
In 1986 he established CAMAC, a company trading agricultural commodities such as sugar, tobacco and rice. In the early 90s he made the leap into the energy sector after the Nigerian government started to develop its energy market.
With his knowledge of Nigeria and his Houston address, Lawal was ideally positioned to attract major oil companies. In 1991 CAMAC made a deal with the oil giant Conoco, agreeing to jointly operate and share production from any Nigerian discoveries.
This turned out to be Lawal's big break.
With his political contacts, local market knowledge and now with the backing of a major oil firm, Lawal's Houston-based company became an instant player in the energy industry.
As Lawal told CNN: "That partnership I believe was the cornerstone of the CAMAC that you know today. Subsequently with that credibility and the advantage of partnering with Conoco, we were also able to partner with BP and also with Statoil of Norway and currently we have made a partnership with Eni, the largest Italian company, which is one of the top five oil companies in the world."
Now CAMAC has offices in London, Johannesburg, Lagos and Port Harcourt, Nigeria and is involved in oil exploration, refining and trading.
He was awarded the USAfrica Business Person of the Year in 1997 and in 2002 CAMAC was named the largest African-American owned company on the Black Enterprise 100s list.

They and their kids have residencies and citizenship of these countries

Do not be deceived. They’re wrecking the country knowingly and preparing a plan B for themselves
