Dangote already has 2 oil blocks that was purchased from Shell via a Joint Venture with another Nigerian Company. OML 71 and 72. The popular kalakuta field or so is part of the block

Dude this post is all lies and propaganda. Straight run gasoline or straight run fuel oil is the first stage gasoline that is produced the final stage is when it is passed through catalytic cracking and mixed with additives to improve the octane rating before getting the standard PMS or premium gasoline. Now they are saying Dangote's straight run gasoline is entering European markets, the same markets where demand is falling because of emphasis on EV and hybrid variants of vehicles!!! The same Europe where refineries are scaling down because of low demand!!! You guys should look for lies and propaganda that can stick.

Which refinery are you guys always referring to.

1. Dangote referring is not working yet and they're not sure if that refinery will ever work, all the pipe works their are leaking.
2. All the pipelines their was installed without coating, all have rust.
3. Their turbines are yet to come because the lines that are supposed to supply gas to it is yet to be flushed.

all these they are selling products na propaganda.
they're only selling the products they imported, they have not refined any drop of crude in dat refinery. Indians dealt with him their.

You are one of the few people who think in this forum. The post is just articulated lies and propaganda. Straight run gasoline that is the first stage product from a refinery column that would produce PMS via catalytic cracking. The question is why is Dangote exporting straight run gasoline when his refinery has a catalytic cracking column? Doesn't make sense at all, unless the same people in Europe will further process it and still export the PMS back to Nigeria.
Even at that the demand for premium gasoline in Europe is declining because of increased preference for low fuel consumption engines, EV and hybrid variants, so where is the supposed demand for straight run gasoline in Europe? These guys think they can fool Nigerians.

This makes sense. But his efforts will be sabotaged if he goes to the Niger delta region. He can stay either in the lagos, ondo or ogun oil fields, these are the only parts of Nigeria where you can run your show and nobody will thwart your efforts.
