(1)Was the twin jobless that she had time to cover for her at work?
(2)No matter the resemblance,there must be something off about her work that would trigger suspicion.
(3)Which kind of work does she do that her twin would seeminglessly fit in without missing some steps and arousing suspicion.
She conveniently didn't state the kind of work so people would not pick holes in her story.

I'd like to see you focus on building a relationship with your spouse or your children without providing. Good luck with that.

Bonding is important but you need to understand that Time is limited and opportunity cost is a real concept. Most men are so swallowed by the demands of their jobs that bonding time is a luxury for them. Not that they wouldn't love to. The sacrifices they make for their kids to have a better life is already a proof of love and should make up for the time lost in bonding. A good wife would explain this to her kids so they wont see their father in a bad light.
