'The former President asserted that to get out of the current situation in the country, the government and the governed needed to look at the past and the present, and ask ‘How did we get here?’ https://dailypost.ng/2024/05/26/two-of-tinubus-key-policies-necessary-but-wrongly-implemented-obasanjo/ 7 Likes |

Just like buhari Tinubu has the best information's on turning around things positively for the country but because the ideas are coming from the opposition he would rather take dumb steps to set the country backwards. 10 Likes |

Let me take time out to respect the great Baba Iyabo for always speaking truth to power The two policies were needed but as for the timing,it is subject to debate I believe that the Nigerian currency is right now closer to its real value as against when it was being heavily subsidized while the petrol subsidy will probably be gone forever in the next few weeks As for the Refineries, anyone I have always believed they are huge mass of metal scrap that should be sold off The people in NNPCL know those Scrap metals can never work and if they have any honour they should resign while those that are ready to work can be sent on sabbatical to Dangote Refinery to know how a Refinery should operate Indeed the people in NNPCL have clearly shown that you can't shame the shameless Tufiakwa!!!! 8 Likes 2 Shares |

His zombies say He is doing awesomely well. You become an enemy when You call out a failure who has done nothing but become an obstacle,a curse to the survival of legit hustling small scale businesses in Nija, while they are the angels for supporting a structure of suffering, Insecurity, hardship and criminality. Some of this guys are poor yet they stand with same evil APC structure that is structured to put them and their generation into more untold poverty and hardship 😁😁 If this is not ZOMBIESM,what then is it? 10 Likes 1 Share |

Baba Obasanjo.himself. A Man the jokers that came after him cannot lace his shoes. A Man that isn't a tribal jingoist like the current one that parked his Lagos boys there. A confirm Yoruba Man and a Nigerian Telecommunications. A1 Banking sector. A1 Corruption. (Creation of EFCC and the Likes) A1. Respect in the commity of Nations after the backlash we got from the Abacha administration. Economy grew under him. Even infrastructure sef, Nigeria's most busy highway,The Lagos Ibadan expressway that is currently being reconstructed was constructed by him in 76.. These current swines were abusing him when he said the refineries would not work because he knew exactly what he was saying.. Awon osinwin oloribuku 27 Likes 2 Shares |

happney65: Bros you are on point, one of the greatest mistake we made was not allowing him to go for third term. Look at what he did, He Saved roughly $60 Billion, our debt was just about $500 Million. He realized that NNPC and the refinery was a major reason why we spend a lot and inflation is high, he sold two of the refinery weeks to leaving office which Yaradua reversed. If he had entered for third term he would have dealt with the northern oligarchy, mesmerized Boko Haram. The man is smart 33 Likes 3 Shares |

We can be serious if we choose to be but we need to change from transactional leadership in government to transformational and genuine servant leadership,” he said. Great submission by Baba OBJ The problem is we like to open debates, blow gramma but never like to close/conclude them. 1 Like |

even an unborn child knows that that was a mistake.. Nigerian leaders know that they are covered by ethno-centricity (even if you are Hiltler, you have the unalloyed backing of your group). So they do these things and get away with it. The immediate former president typifies that. You don't say subsidy is gone on your first day in office.. and on the same day make your parallel rate to become official rate. Then as the BDCs were shifting way from you, you were following them. And even decided to overtake them at a point. What manner of economics was that..🤔🤔🤔 The people have suffered the consequences of these voodoo economics ever since and still suffering while the government people smile to the bank.. I have never witnessed such level of insénsitivity. Have never seen a 'labour pain' lasting for one year and still counting.. All you need as a good leader is empathy. Be sensitive, let commonsense prevail. The common people have suffered enough naa.. 2 Likes |

Phased Implementation: Policies like subsidy removal should be implemented gradually, with safety nets for vulnerable populations. Inclusive Policy Formulation: Engage experts, stakeholders, and the public in policy development to ensure comprehensive and practical solutions. Transparent Governance: Foster transparency and accountability to build trust and attract investment. Addressing corruption and inefficiencies will be crucial. Economic Diversification: Focus on diversifying the economy beyond oil, investing in sectors like agriculture, technology, and manufacturing to create jobs and drive sustainable growth. Improving Security: Develop a coherent and strategic approach to security issues, including those involving neighboring countries, to ensure stability and protect economic interests. Tinubu's administration has initiated some necessary reforms, their execution has been flawed. Adopting a more thoughtful, inclusive, and phased approach to policy implementation will be essential in navigating Nigeria out of its current crises and towards a more secure and prosperous future. 2 Likes 1 Share |
