Are you OK Mr Agbado?
OBJ started the fact about the clueless Tinubu.
Planning a Project without proper execution is a failure

Don’t bother to answer the Kamikaze’s. They are not concerned about governance or the prosperity of the nation. Their sole obsession is that an Igbo man should not be given the opportunity to govern this country.

Keep lying to yourself and your igbo folks. No government (Federal nor State) restricted you people to go. The Civil War was ill advised by your ego filled warlord that then abandoned the troops and ran away.
Tell your state government to start a referendum and if all of you agreed to go, then please do. The rest of us will roll out a red carpet for you.

Shut up, I'm not from igbo.. Low mentality will always make you think anyone who wants to secede is from the East.

I agree partially . I mean he is right those steps were necessary but wrongly implemented.
He took stopped the subsidy on day 1 with a pronouncement. He did not prepare the people for the known outcome.
With regards to TE , some of those investors are crooks looking for the usually kickbacks . If they want to leave let them go. Let them try the arabs .

True. However, things were not THIS bad under Obasanjo, so at lest let's hear what he has to say. When I first came to Nigeria, the exchange rate was $1 for N110 and it was a very big deal when it rose to N115. Today it goes up and down from above N1200 to well over N1800 and CURRENT and RULLING polithiefcians are just sleeping.

Phased Implementation: Policies like subsidy removal should be implemented gradually, with safety nets for vulnerable populations.
Inclusive Policy Formulation: Engage experts, stakeholders, and the public in policy development to ensure comprehensive and practical solutions.

Transparent Governance: Foster transparency and accountability to build trust and attract investment. Addressing corruption and inefficiencies will be crucial.

Economic Diversification: Focus on diversifying the economy beyond oil, investing in sectors like agriculture, technology, and manufacturing to create jobs and drive sustainable growth.

Improving Security: Develop a coherent and strategic approach to security issues, including those involving neighboring countries, to ensure stability and protect economic interests.

Tinubu's administration has initiated some necessary reforms, their execution has been flawed. Adopting a more thoughtful, inclusive, and phased approach to policy implementation will be essential in navigating Nigeria out of its current crises and towards a more secure and prosperous future.
Spot on. It baffles me when simple strategies as these are ignored and jettisoned for rubbish and corruption filled ideas are push forward.
Incrementalism is the ideal way to implement policies in a diverse and complex societies as ours.

He was not properly advised, and in his desperate bid for power, he agreed to implement multiple drastic measures at once. Have you noticed he follows the IMF's recommendations to the letter? I expected him to seek advice from Osinbajo and Fashola, individuals who have worked closely with him and understand the complexities of governing Nigeria.

Now, he finds himself in deeper trouble than he anticipated, paying the highest petrol subsidy in Nigeria's history. Despite this, he has yet to acknowledge his mistake. Those around him know his policies are failing, which explains the silence from the state governments.

You're right. He seems to have good intentions but his implementation strategies are wrong.
He also need to curb a lot of excesses, reduce cost of governance for us to take him serious.
It is a pity we're in a bigger mess than we were during Jonathan and Buhari's time.

TINUBU MUST REGULATE THE PETROL, DIESEL AND VEHICLE RUNNING AND MOVEMENT COST.

TINUBU MUST TAG THE OFFICIAL RATE OF NAIRA:DOLLAR. HE MUST SUSPEND DOMICILIARY ACCOUNTS OPERATIONS. ALL FOREIGN CURRENCIES MUST PASS THROUGH THE CBN AND MDBS AND EXCHANGED AT OFFICIAL RATE OF N200:$1. OUR BANKS ARE LAZY IGNORANT AND WASTEFUL. BDCS AND PMS SHOULD OPERATE BELOW N200:$1 AND DEAL MAINLY FOREIGN TRAVELERS.

TINUBU IS NOT USING OUR NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL WISELY. WHERE WERE THEY WHEN TCHAJANI OF NIGER REPUBLIC WAS ACTING?

Orisa37
TINUBU IS THE PRESIDENT OF ALL NIGERIANS .
