I hoped for a kind draw and we got one. I want us to be able to rest some players while giving the likes of Gnabry more games.

Roland17: T. Rosicky is an epitome of class, his discipline with possession and positional awareness is unrivaled.

Tomas took a long time to show glimpses of his form in germany

Theo Walcott ruled out for six months

After coming off injured in Saturday's 2-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur, the Club regrettably announces that Theo Walcott has sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee.

Theo will have surgery in London in the near future and is expected to be out for at least six months, therefore missing the remainder of the season and the World Cup in Brazil in the summer.

Everyone at Arsenal wishes Theo a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing him back on a football pitch as soon as possible.

So Walcott might not play a World cup game till he is 28yrs old

Very unlucky, this guy has shown remarkable progress over the last couple of seasons and was beginning to show that he could perform at the very top level.

As a Chelsea fan, it is a good to know that a title rival has been weakened, but as a football fan I feel a bit sad for Theo missing out on the rest of the season and a deserved place at the World Cup.

Here's to a speed recovery Theo. Get well soon.

An area we are short on numbers has now been decimated further...

It is imperative Wenger gets busy in the transfer market and bring in a wide man and a striker at the very least!

Nothing less than that will be acceptable.

So sad to hear this news about Theo - get well soon son.

Now Wenger has absolutely no excuse left - this injury has happened early enough that a move can be made in the transfer market to soften its impact.

IMO, this makes pursuing a player like Remy even more imperative. He is pacy and can potentially play wide in a front three if needed to provide some of what Theo did for us.

Na only dat one u see? U nor see the sad emoticons? If you cannot understand my apt use of emoticons, this part of Bauer's post succinctly explains their different uses:
