But he doesn't learn from on-pitch errors. That's why we see teams (especially Chelsea) using the same tactics to defeat his boys over and over again. Also, during that period of trophylessness, all our players do is pass... pass... pass... pass... No one shoots. And we get beaten at the end or drop valuable points.
