IZUKWU:
the only player that we were not trying to buy before the league began was mustafi and that is because it was covered in Wenger's mind till the injuries happened
Even Mustafi we were interested in him before the injuries. Gazidis said we were looking to bring in a defender days before Gabriel got injured. Gabriel's injury sped up plans. We would've probably signed mustafi on deadline day.

That's baba Pant-aki comforting himself from the unending anguish Assanal has dealt him for over 30 years plus.

Those links show wenger was in for a striker and a defender. That was what you asked for. Perez has said we contacted him back in July, you want me to bring links linking him with us as early as January??

Gabriel should be back in 2 months.
thank you! Seems we have some peeps with a thinking cap.

Now you realize the foolishness of your earlier analogy. Your useless club would soon be in need of a coach. Better place Joachim Low on your speedy dial asap.

I never knew Lucas Perez won a world cup too.
Mustafa with a world cup medal will forever be behind the likes of vidic when we talk of defenders. But I understand u. Its arsenal way....celebrating players like Carlos Vela, chamakh, sanogo, asane, etc.

Lol. No mind dem. See dem hyping and posting gifs of a player that was a bench warmer and was almost irrelevant during the world cup. And yet, they ll always be lambasting Pa Ramuzaki anytime he posts pictures of Boateng holding the World Cup trophy. Shior!!

It's funny to find Arsenal fans still jumping on Wengers financial prudence, granted he doesn't spend as much as Man Utd, Chelsea, City, Barca, Madrid but he sure does spend a lot of money and should be delivering trophies at the end of the season.
It's outright mediocrity for Arsenal fans to use financial clout as an excuse in times where Juventus with less spending over the past 5 years have reached the UCL Final, A. Madrid have also won La Liga and reached the UCL final, Dortmund have also achieved a lot spending less on player transfer and more recently, Leicester City.

Football is not won by the highest amount you can spend. At least, Leicester City proved that assumption right. That said I totally agree with your intellectual input. Nevertheless, we have seen some of your uber useless scumtwats who are perpertual nuisance on this thread posting all sorts of rubbish during this summer transfer windown about Arsenal not willing to spend, which is totally wrong. Now eggs have been smashed in their respective idiootic faces.

Last season, we had a stronger chance to win the league, had Wenger not towed the path of being a stubborn goat during the summer transfer window. When he bought only Cech and he closed shop despite all the noise the fans made. Financial clout is no excuse. Afterall, Manure spent over 250 million quid in the last 2-3 seasons, with nothing substantial to show for it except for the FA Cup and recently Community Shield tray.

Now Arsenal has reinforced with quality addition. Your useless team has reinforced with some of the socalled most expensive players out there. Lets see where it lands our respective teams by the end of the season. Then our respective banters would have some form of justification.

Arsenal didn't spend and didn't win.

Manure and Chelsea spent but still didn't win.

Who is worse?

By the way, our failure to win a title recently is not about Wenger spending, it is about him not spending. Now that he has spent over £80m in a season, and actually addressed weak areas in the team, it's time to put him to test.
