So Aw has finally buckled under the pressure of having to deal with pep, mourhino and co who have increasingly added strong re-inforcments to their squads as well as being his nemesis for such long periods. Shout out to all the ex-arsenal players for continually criticizing him on and off-air. I mean its just ridiculous to think you would survive even a top-four spot with no quality additions to the squad. I think the whole Arsenal board just woke up from the slumber to realize you cant have OG as your first choice striker and expect to challenge seriously for top-honors plus the lethargy we have on right side of midfield was becoming too annoying. Its early days but i suspect that Ozil and sanchez have had a big part in the mix of things on and off the field especially has they haven't committed to any thing just yet concerning their contracts. Fingers crossed hoping that the new acquisitions can adjust quickly and it would be fun watch Arsenal play again 1 Like 1 Share |

Jencejyde:So you think transfers are arranged in dreamland? The Board has been working to get new signings since June. For your information, Arsenal had bids for Griezmann, Vardy and Lacazette. Their problem is not willingness to sign their problem is they are miserly. Hence Perez was a lower option, and his deal has been in place since January. Transfer can take weeks or months to materialise. For example, why do you think Arsenal has not yet announced Mustafi and Perez? Deal is still in progress. |

Hello guys, I wrote a short article on who I think should be the English Premiership player of the week. Nominees are Eden Hazard, Shay Given, Alexis Sanchez, Raheem Sterling and Daniel Drinkwater. Click the link below to find out who my winner is plus you can comment on who you think was the best player this past week. http://eneprom..com.ng/2016/08/english-premiership-player-of-week.html?m=1 |

Spy360: Dreamland? really?! So you are part of the Arsenal board now abi? Well miserly i quite agree but in a world were prices are inflated which everyone knows, being miserly means you are still on a long thing. I'm not buying the crap of working since june when you end up not paying what is expected to finalize it. No one said transfers don't take time, but in my own opinion Arsene and the Boards hands were forced on this ones with injuries and fans agitation most especially with the way Mo and Pep and Conte have set up their squads. |

Jencejyde:When did we sign Xhaka? June. Or you think a group of stingy men like Arsene, Gazidis and Kroenke will 'panic buy'? With over £50m? Lol! Arsene is frugal to the core. His judgements may end up wrong, but he does not panic buy. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 4:04am On Aug 31, 2016 |
IZUKWU:It's for the player's benefit, to give him a fresh start. He can't compete with our present midfielders for starting places, plus having not played enough games at his age. Our benefit would be long term. |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 9:44am On Aug 31, 2016 |
IZUKWU:To panic buy is to sign players just because you FEEL they will bail you out, without doing thorough background CHECKS. Panic buy is different from cheap buy. Arsenal cheap buys but do not panic buy. Reason why there are more players linked to Arsenal than the rest of Europe. We do a lot of scouting and then final arrive at the cheapest best article. Those who panic buy are usually those who have money to spend. An example presently is Chelsea's pursuit of David Luiz except that he is their former player. Arteta and Per couldn't have been panic buys. They both captained the team. Kim was not a buy, he was a loan. 1 Like |

Spy360:Preach bro, Perez even confirmed he's been on arsenal radar for sometime now, and we've all been hearing of Mustafi for quite some weeks, I really don't know how IZUKWU defines panic buy. The only ish with Mustafi's signing is the fact that he could have been cheaper if Wenger had struck early enough, but he wanted to play smart only for his CBs to get injured and calamity Chambers couldn't turn up, Valencia smelled blood and drove up the price. Baba had no choice but to cough out 35M for a defender. |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Nobody: 10:42am On Aug 31, 2016 |
ColtPython:U still don't get it, if he had signed someone on the deadline just to shore up these areas then u can call it a panic buy. On the contrary he has been linked to these players earlier in the transfer window meaning he has properly analysed them and had enough time at his disposal to sanction the deals it was all over the news maybe u missed it, but Wenger was only being Wenger looking for a bargain buy as usual thinking the price will go down. The case of yawnited and Martial is what u call a panic buy though it paid off. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by ColtPython(m): 12:08pm On Aug 31, 2016 |
kokaneprodigy: seems our understanding of panic buying differs. This man utd case you cited is flawed because they had already signed the following players before bringing in Martial on deadline day to improve on what they already have. Morgan Schneiderlin Memphis Depay Matteo Darmian Bastian Schweinsteiger Sergio Romero |

kokaneprodigy: Spy360: ColtPython: Spy360:panic buy for arsenal and Wenger ,I didn't. count Lucas and mustafi . I especially mentioned after the drubbing by man u. we signed the likes of Santos , park and what have you. panic buy is when you buy trash because of time constraint when you have had opportunity to do better and you were hoping that what you have will be enough 2 Likes |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 3:06pm On Aug 31, 2016 |
ColtPython:Park was for the future, he was sent on loan, didn't make it. Same way we are with Asano, Nwakali etc. Arteta couldn't ave been panic na, he was with Everton and a similitude to Fabregas. Chamakh's deal was signed six months before he arrived. |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 3:13pm On Aug 31, 2016 |
IZUKWU:Was Torres panic buy for Chelsea? No. Was he trash? Yes. Panic buy does not mean trash. A panic buy may even turn out to be quality. Panic buy is buying without thorough check or scouting. Panic buying is buying based on feeling- fear, excitement, anxiety, etc. Liverpool's Balotelli is a good example of buying with anxiety. |
