justwise, uuspace and vicjustice,so should the letter of intro state this negotiation as a reason why am being allowed to go on vacation b4 the mandatory 6 months periodthe HR manager wants me to advise him on how to state the letter without bringing any issue to my application.

Awumen, The letter of introduction from your office should state that your leave for (When you want yo travel is approved .......) is approved , no need to include the negotiation agreements, though you can put that in other information part of your visa application.

I would want to ask, for your previous Visa applications, the letter you got from your place of employment what did they write.

Why i mentioned the issue is i know,it is rare to be entitled to leave, when you have just worked under 6 months for a company,So all you need to do is give reason why you are going on leave just after joining a company

Oh yes! Everything is wrong with reducing your age and you are 'too young' to start entertaining criminal mind. If you start now thinking about how to cheat when will you stop or how far can you go?

Good luck.

Hello house,

Please I need an advise.
I sent my documents to Sheffield, that's after the form and TB, have been taken in Nigeria. I sent it to S3 8WA, but so far I have been receiving mails on this thread that docs are sent to Vulcan house S3 8NU, which is just 11mins walk from each other.
I would like to clarify which is right btw S3 8WA and S3 8NU.

Secondly, I sent the documents on the 26th September, which was on Saturday, and was received on Monday and signed by a guy called Mckenzie (thats after I tracked it with the royal mail I used to send the document - Special delivery service), I was just wondering that since I posted it to S3 8WA, I have not received any email to let me know that it's been received (except for royal mail tracking). I would just want to now how long it takes to receive an email that it's been received, or will I not receive any email until a decision have been made?

In a nutshell
1. I want to know the right postcode if it is S3 8WA (Where I sent it to), or Vulcan House S3 8NU
2. I want to know when I should be able to receive an email. I am panicking cos I dunno if they were able to receive it in the first place.

Please I would appreciate lots of responses in regards to this issue. God bless in advance
Hoping to hear from you soon.

Hi all (@Justwise)

One of my friends needs some advice.

He first came as a student in 2010, and then a post study visa and is now on a Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa which runs until 2017.

His question is, after this visa expires, which options has he got to remain in the UK aside from renewing this visa or getting married. He runs his own business but not to the extent in which the 2nd stage entrepreneur visa requirements for the renewal.

He just wants to be able to stay here, since he has built up a life and business, however wants to remain legitimately on his own back.

kind regards and any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I want to apply for a general visa to the UK. I have been to the UK before for study in 2011 and my visa expired in 2013. I want to attend my brother's graduation in December but my problem is finance. Though I have been working for two years plus now, but I don't have enough cash in my account now. I want to know how much I should have in my account before submitting an application. Also, can I submit a bank statement of just 2 weeks?

If I were him I will do everything legally within the law to stay on the current visa category because that is the shortest way of getting ILR in the UK and he just 2 years to achieve that. Just one renewer he will be eligible for indefinite stay.

Switching to other visa type now will not help him that much

General visiting visa will allow you to do that though if the exam last longer than your stated stay-period it may cause a problem when you go for renewer as you did not mention anything about the exam during your application.

Is not about how much you should have in your account it's about how much you earn and available for the trip.

You can't submit 2 weeks old bank statement.

It starts counting the moment you hand in your application and submit your biometric details at visa centre.

Juts Googled about tier 2 general visa which says one must have a sponsor(employer) before one can apply for the visa. If you say it doesn't permit one to reside and work legally, how then does one achieve that? Can you state the exact pages where this info can be found so I can read up or can you tell me yourself or anything else. Thanks.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by Davdar: 10:13am On Oct 06, 2015
Hello Justwise

I need advice on a visa refusal. My husband got his passport today and he is been refused on the following grounds:
We first met on 10/04/2012 and started the relationship in August 2012 and got married on 06/08/2014
We used calling cards as evidence of communication but the calling cards have no names and they aware that cards are readily available in Ghana to purchase as second hand. There is no itemised telephone records so they not satisfied.
The photographs provided are of our wedding day with a few on different occasions. However it appears that these photographs were all taken during the same visit by your sponsor. So therefore am not satisfied. Furthermore there is no evidence that your sponsor has been to visit you after the marriage on August 2014. Am not satisfied that your relationship is genuine and subsisting or that you intend to live together permanently in the UK.

Those are the reasons. Please advice me on what to do? Should I do the appeal or what? And If I do, and add extra supporting documents as I went to Ghana last month as a prove, do we have a chance ? Do I need to get a lawyer? Any suggestions on the platform will be appreciated. Thank you

To keep things simple.
There is no visa that will allow you to go to the UK and then look for work.
Visitor visa is for holiday, then return home.
Student visa is for study, then return home.
If you can find employment with a large company in a highly skilled job, then the company can sponsor a working visa.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by OGreene: 11:24am On Oct 06, 2015
Hi, this is what I have to say.

- ur cost of living is quite low, also when compared to amount given to dependants. So you give out double of what you spend in a month?

- you can take down cost of accommodation to £270 and add the balance to airplane fare making it £470, like N155,000. You can get hotels for £40± multiply it by 6 is about £270. It's very okay.

- cost of trip is £910, over 300k. Hope you have enough fund in ur acct.

House, I hope changing the number of days poster will be staying wouldn't raise eye brows at the POE. I remember it was more than 6 days before sha. As a first-timer without immigration history...
