Blood Sugar Spikes and Drops If the meal is rich in carbs (like rice, pasta, or starchy foods), it could lead to a spike in blood sugar, followed by a drop, which might make you feel sleepy quickly. |

Sleep disorder could lead to eating disorder and the reverse is also true. If not taken care of, they could result in physical medical conditions. Sleep disorder could take different forms, it could be difficulty getting to sleep, staying asleep, or often sleepy. With eating disorder one could experiment one or several challenges including loss of appetite, unable to eat, difficulty keeping down food, over eating, bench eating and voluntary vomiting. See your health care provider for help. |

OneOnland:low energy is definitely a medical condition. Have you seen how hyperactive a rat can be? A healthy man should be close to same. Eat balanced diet, avoid sugary processed foods, sleep at least 6hrs every night, exercise, quit porn& masturbation (if you engage in it), then watch your life come back. |

If you are 30+ or almost 30, it is the signs of the time. You are becoming older. That said, try to eat before 9pm as it is medically advisable. I know it is not easy, but it would reduce the tiredness and prevent potbelly. |

Nazgul:You are probably a slow eater and after 9pm you are so tired and feeling sleepy. If so, then it is natural because I know someone who does that (I won't mention any names). It is very annoying to people around you so see if you can speed up your eating process. Staying on a food for more than 30mins doesn't seem ok to me. |

Nawao…..SLEEPING RIGHT INFRONT OF THE FOOD sound funny to me though but change in work hours or strenuous activities may cause it so adjust your primetime activities like a month straight and see if it still persists to seek medical attention. Different body system sha Me fit eat at any hour of the day and night sef and still won’t have any discomfort or complain. Contrary to ops system, if me eat earlier than dat 9pm sef I may probably wake to eat something before dawn |

| Re: Is This Normal? by Juliearth(f): 9:40pm On Dec 15, 2024 |
Nazgul:What time do you usually fall asleep? Im asking because if the mentioned time is when you usually go to bed, then that feeling is your body telling you that it's time for bed regardless of the fact that you're eating. Your body releases melatonin which triggers sleep. Another reason could be due to the sudden rise in blood sugar level, especially if the food is high in carbohydrates. If this is the case, ensure that whatever meal you are eating at this time is low in carbs. Also, if I may advise, please avoid eating late as that may put you at risk of a wide variety of health challenges. If the hunger pangs cannot be curbed, please opt for fruits low in sugar. |

lendahand:Thanks for this, but no, not like that. I have profound enough energy for "everything", great reflex, faster response-ability than lots others and fine level of strength, but for food requiring efforts to eat, I get weak over it. I'd rather not chew fruits, but would rather blend them to drink instead. I'd rather eat porridge than eat yam itself. Say like a cat could be all so energetic in what interests them, and for what they don't like, they'd rather let low energy reign. It's like that. Thanks for your counsel actually, but I'd rather not exert jaw energy on high effort foods, but postpone them till when I have the 'time'. |

Juliearth:The thing is I sleep very late most times because I do work until late into the night. Sometimes I'm up till around 2am. The problem here is that if I taste any from from after 9pm I'll immediately start feeling dizzy and sleepy. But if I don't eat anything, I can stay up until I'm ready to retire to bed. As for fruits, most fruits aren't readily available when you need them. Maybe it's my location. But I'd say people who live close to markets and bus stops are the ones who can see fruits as an option to quench hunger. |

kkins25:When I was still doing 9-5 I barely eat breakfast. Cos breakfast isn't expected to be heavy. Maybe fries or snacks. If you swallow eba or fufu for breakfast, believe me, your day would be ruined. |
