Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:26pm On Dec 04, 2019
James Harden should never be in the MVP conversation because he doesn't add value to his team, goes out, gets his stats and makes the game all about him reducing his teammates to spectators instead of empowering him.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:27pm On Dec 04, 2019
Luka Doncic is Linsanity 2.0, i expect that to fizzle out on its own. Besides, the mavs wont win enough. I don't consider him a threat.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:30pm On Dec 04, 2019
As for Giannis, its all about the lakers finishing as the one seed with a better record in a better conference and LeBron leading the league in assists. Tall order but one game at a time.
Re: The NBA Begins by smokers: 6:47pm On Dec 04, 2019
Nah that's thrash talk Doncic is the truth

Re: The NBA Begins by Pointguardusa(m): 7:00pm On Dec 04, 2019
This is all true....but.....i thought mvp was all about stats?
Re: The NBA Begins by Pointguardusa(m): 7:01pm On Dec 04, 2019
No I don't think so. There's no Carmelo Anthony to mess things up and slow down the gameplay .
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:21pm On Dec 04, 2019
Just like Jokic was the truth last year and now hes a glorified bum.
I'd like to see how doncic progresses especially if porzingis starts firing on all cylinders or he gets a second star. Getting James Harden vibes from him.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:23pm On Dec 04, 2019
They move the goalpost every year. All about narratives but usually the MVP goes to the best player on the team with the best record in the NBA. All five contenders have great narratives but trust me if its that close and LeBron has the best record in the league, hes getting that fifth MVP.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:24pm On Dec 04, 2019
Something is wrong with him. Hes always looked a little chubby so its not about the weight, the joker is broken.
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 7:28pm On Dec 04, 2019
Nah it's Not. Jokic is dealing with Personal issues(Family related) this season. The Nuggets need Him back on song if they are to match Last Season's success.
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 7:42pm On Dec 04, 2019
AD and Giannis better pray Doncic does not improve any further because If He does, this dude is going to take their Spot as the New Face of the League. Sure He is bound to experience a Slump of some sort in the coming months but trust me this dude is not going anywhere. He is the "REAL DEAL".

Haha, very funny benji.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:22pm On Dec 04, 2019
KarnBarlow:Hahahaha if you think Jokic and Doncic are the same you're not paying attention at all.
Jokic is great but he's not Doncic in the sense that Doncic wants all the smoke. He doesn't let the game come to him. He takes it by the scruff of its neck
Plus Doncic is no James Harden. He is playing within the offense. Porzingis struggles really are on Porzingis. There is nothing Luka can do about a 7'3 ninja that doesn't want to bang in the post or use his size advantage. I hope the team does not hold Luka back. He is carrying too much load already
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:23pm On Dec 04, 2019
chic2pimp:This would explain a lot because Jokic has been playing like poverty this year it must be said
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:26pm On Dec 04, 2019
KarnBarlow:I hate to break it to you but LeNomad's MVP campaign is in grave danger. That Giannis is not getting more noise is solely because of him playing in a small market city.
And unlike previous years can we really say the West is stronger than the East? The conference records are pretty much the same. Both conferences have sub .500 teams in playoff position as we speak
Luka just won player of the month in the West, best believe he has entered the conversation. You should beware

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:05pm On Dec 04, 2019
LeBron goes west and the west becomes weak. Just as i predicted. I told you this was going to happen, what was your response again?
Mark me, the lakers win the west and its a done deal, doesnt matter what Giannis does.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:14pm On Dec 04, 2019
I like doncic but as long as he stands in LeBrons way for his 5th MVP i am officially off his bandwagon until next season. From now on when i see Doncic, this is all i see. Not in the mood for rationality.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:47pm On Dec 04, 2019
KarnBarlow:What are you talking about young man.
The 4th seed in the West would be the 6th seed in the East. The 8th seed in both conferences are under .500
Everything isn't about LeNomad. These are just the facts on ground
If the Lakers win the West it's not a done deal. AD will split the votes. I mean he is only leading AD in assists. AD leads him in every other category
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:51pm On Dec 04, 2019
KarnBarlow:The more Doncic or Giannis balls the less likely LeNomad gets an MVP. Remember having Anthony Davis on the team does not help his chances at all. Another month like Luka's November and he will have sole control of best player out West
And for those wondering why people are not respecting Harden's MVP candidacy just know he shot 28% yesterday. 50pts and 28% from the field
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:53pm On Dec 04, 2019
It's just strange how the weakness of the west coincides with the rise of lebron in the conference, again, just like i predicted a year ago. Seems every conference LeBron goes to becomes weaker. Hes so lucky
If the lakers win the west AD wins DPOY and Lebron wins MVP. Theres a reason the journalist surveyed have lebron at number 2. There will be no vote splitting here cause the motor of the team is quite obvious. But i expect people to start hyping up the same AD they disparaged very soon. I see these things from a mile away. How can anyone resist the narrative of "The Washed King"?
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:06am On Dec 05, 2019
I've noticed ever since this poll came out a lot of people are shook. I see many calling for AD to be MVP and its hilarious. So far so good for lebron fans this year. Everything is going according to plan.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:08am On Dec 05, 2019
I'm telling you this man is doing this on purpose.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:17am On Dec 05, 2019
Weird that all the lakers losses have come at the staples. They're yet to lose away from home (the clippers don't count).
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:51am On Dec 05, 2019
KarnBarlow:I didn't say weaker. I said they are pretty much the same. There are no marked differences between the East and West this year. The numbers are there for all to see. There is no need for unnecessary salaye
KarnBarlow:If the Lakers finish atop the West MVP is far from guaranteed. He's purely there on the back of their hot start and reputation but you can see how quickly Luka has jumped to 3.
Think about it after the first month it looked like your man was running away with the award but now you have two younger and fresher guns on his heels (one of them with similar record and without AD level talent) I mean the same guy you said would have led the Bucks to a chip? Don't say we are disparaging him now. We the AD disparagers are in the minority and we know ourselves. If the likes of Steph and KD fell out of MVP consideration when they became teammates I can see why LeNomad will as well as it becomes apparent that he and AD are 1A and 1B literally
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:55am On Dec 05, 2019
Utah's been stinking it up recently. Got banged on their road trip and now they're getting banged in their fortress. Hopefully the Lakers have the gas to see this one through.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:59am On Dec 05, 2019
It's all too early. A lot can happen. I don't like arguing about things when time can provide a definite answer. Watch as destiny unfolds before you.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:01am On Dec 05, 2019
The bucks might silently be the best team in the league. They've been blowing out teams consistently with Giannis playing very few minutes. Let's see how they do against the clippers.
