@ Op, I see you're all for being controversial. The 2 passages you quoted are 2 entirely different scenarios. For the purpose of simplifying what the Bible means, it means that he allowed him to move with his own will, his own mind. As a father, when you leave your son/daughter to their own devices especially when you know that a negative consequence could result from their actions, then it is easy to say the same about you. |
