@sweetnja
Abeg, go with your yeye poll, I also like cheap fuel, but at what cost.
Less face it, GEJ's unfolding economic policy may be, in the face of it, very unpopular, but come to think of it, do we really have any alternative?
From ur comment you don't have an idea of the level of insincerity by this govt. Even with the roads, employment, buses (that will go to their friends and associates) and all the goodies they've promised, this will not put food in our table.
Let me put it this way; The rate of inflation WILL NEVER BE commensurate to our current earnings/Income, God help us because of the consequence of this policy that u support.
The alternative to this impasse is the tackling of govt excess and CORRUPTION, simple economic policy.

My guesses:
1. N65 now, N141 in
April.
Or
2. 90-120 flat rate.
Either way, FG's objectives will be met as planned.

You don't think the government's obligation stops where the people right begins in a democracy. People's voice should prevail. Since Nigeria is under civil rule not democracy, anything can still happen though at a serious cost to the nation.

No economic policy will thrive at the magnitude of the prevalent corruption in Nigeria. GEJ should either address corruption or manage the status quo till his tenure is over. Extra hardship on the masses will make his tenure ungovernable, this aint rocket science, its common sense.

Re: NLC/TUC Continue Talks With FG Today At 6pm by prodam(m): 9:44pm On Jan 14, 2012
my greatest fear now is that. today the means of distress to nigerians is removal of fuel subsidy
whats gonna be the next?

remember some one assured Nigerians of ruling us for the next 50yrs,
wake up NIgerians, come 2015 lets vote right,
please this administration has confirmed that PDP is an anti-people party, in PDP, personal interest supersedes the interest of the masses,

Re: NLC/TUC Continue Talks With FG Today At 6pm by Nobody: 10:14pm On Jan 14, 2012
its obvious the FG is using delay tactics.

As. reported by channels, they are on recess and the meeting might continue till the early hours of sunday so as to prevent pengassan shutdown.

My opinion.

Cos how long will take more than 50 pple to say a yes or a no?

They ve spent more than 2 hours already, dragging front and back.
