i upgraded my iphone 4 from ios 4 to ios 5,though i have it unlocked with all functions and apps working, but so far,it keeps displaying no service,despite that i have a gevey sim card already, anyone can help? |

Haa, you upgraded the baseband. Anyway what is the model of your iPhone? And how did you claim you unlocked it? |

hope u preserved ur baseband? if ur bb is 4.11.08, gevy will not work, no service for sure. |

i upgraded it via itunes server and it went back to factory settings and locked, but i unlocked it with cydia,but the bb now is 04.11.08, what can i do please,i need to get it working again |

at the moment, Gevey can't solve your problem. Anyway what is the model of your iPhone? check about under settings |

guess i gotta wait till theres software for 04.11.08, but maybe i could downgrade to 04.11.08 |

@Op, Sorry for hijacking your thread,but i have the same problem as yours. @Sun temi & Tumababa, Plz i have the same problem upgraded to ios 5 and gevey sim refuse to work, Hope thi will help: Version 5.0.1(9A405) Model : MC610LL Firmware: 04.11.08 btw its an iphone 4 32GB Plz your assistance will really be appreciated. |

Rich Dad:4.11 dont work with gevey, dat model ending with LL is locked to AT&T and they don't offer official unlock. U either look for someone going to usa and sell to him or be using as ipod till an unlock comes out(unfortunately no one is working on it ATM, d unlockers are working on 4S baseband but keep hope alive) |

The Hackers behind Gevey said they are working on 04.11.08 unlock. I will keep you guyz posted when there is any update. |

Details of the iphone are: iPhone4=== capacity 28.5GB=== Version: 5.0.1 (9A405)==== Model:MC610LL ===Modem Firmware:02.10.04 ===They said it is gevey unlocked and jailbroken. it worked for just 1 day and "no SIM" appeared since then it has permanently been on "No sim card installed" the moment i powered it up. I had to reset the settings but nothing happened, could the reset have any effect? pls help out. i'll really appreciate a detailed explanation as i'm totally lost. I'm using Etisalat data card which has the best service in this area. |

GOOD NEWS IF YOUR IPHONE 4/4S IS LOCKED TO AT&T  , IT CAN NOW BE UNLOCKED!!!!! u can contact me for thru my mail tumababa247@yahoo.com or call 08053250698.please note that the service is quite expensive but it works. your iphone will be permanently unlocked. if your iphone model (at the about page) ends with LL, its most likely locked to AT&T. U will be able to upgrade without fear of the fone getting locked. the best part is if the d service stops and u couldnt get the unlock, u get your cash back. |

Unlocking is easy but when you have a genuine unlock code, Only genuine code unlock your handset 100% otherwise your handset will locked forever after few attempts.. You can also visit http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/apple/rs2wp8/ for Iphone unlock code. |
