I received an SMS from UAC foods to this effect this morning. This is another negative effect of the partial removal of fuel subsidy. GEJ should be careful before a food revolution sweeps across Nigeria.

Gala was much tastier & richer when it was N20. I was small though but when it started selling 4 N50, it was obvious it had lost so much quality, then stupidly they tried using adverts to improve sales. Well I'm still expecting lower quality even with increase in price. Thank God 4 d word 'alternative'.

I thought Gala had died a natural death a long time ago. . .along with it's fellow old-school brands such as Omo, Maggi, Oxford Cabin Biscuits, Choco-Milo, etc. Besides, that sh.i.t tastes awful and is often so strong and stiff that some girls might even use it as an emergency Love Machine. Yuk.
