I have only been on this forum a short while but I have come to the conclusion that this is NOT a place to discuss the Christian faith or to seek edification. Since coming on here I have seen all manner of blasphemy and people who are not Christians or even religious jumping into threads decrying Christianity and castigating the posters. There are people who are not Christians who speak "dogmatically" about issues they are not qualified to speak on or even care about and this results in confusion rather than edification. I know there are a few "lights" in here trying to do the best they can by spreading the message of truth but without proper moderation by Christian moderators I think this is perhaps not the place for Christian fellowship. I wont be surprised if many come out and attack me for posting this but the truth needs to be said and for the genuine Christians on here perhaps we all should heed scriptures and come out from among them (unbelievers - the errant)[2 Cor 6:17] lest we become part-takers of their sins. God is not the author of confusion (1 Cor 14:33) and in spite of the posting rules people are flouting these at will without any recrimination from the so-called moderators which causes this forum to descend into utter confusion.

But what we see here is not surprising since the Spirit speaketh expressedly that these things should happen in the last days:

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Tim 3)

That christians have expected it to be a christian forum and treated it as such is the source of all the disappointments. I've not been here in a while, but I have some issues too.
-Firstly I believe we should be able to talk with each other. U say wat U bliv & I say mine & let naturally d superior pronoucement wil triumph. But if U cant talk to me & neither I to U, aren't we denying ourselves of triumph (in winning sombody) or salvation (in seeing the light) ??
-Nevertheless, if there is a Muslim section, why isn't there a Christian section as well? Immediately I entered d religion forum & I saw d Muslim section & its restriction from non-Muslims, I didn't go there. So if we have a Christian section too Muslims and other non-Christians will also have to keep off. If anyone breaks these rules, why don't d moderators deal with him/her somehow?

The opening poster has a point and I agree with his post by and large.

No one has ever claimed this section to be a Christian only forum (as far as I know) even though it was always and still remains largely "occupied" by Christians more than others. Apart from Moslems mainly, who else do the Christians here have a go at? Do the Christians challenge let alone insult the Eckists, the Grail movement adherents, the Ifa worshippers, even the Satanists? The situation of Moslems v Christians is peculiar for particular reasons; and I speak as one who rarely ever engages in the Moslem-Christian brouhahas.

It is also false to claim that the Christians feel persecuted because people "question" our faith. Since I have been visiting this site, Christians have always been ready to answer questions ---- even if the answers are not satisfactory or even maybe not theologically or biblically accurate.

The problem is not about answering questions: the problem has been correctly identified several times and even currently. The problem is with the scoffers, the mockers, the "intellectuals" etc who make sport of attacking (used very deliberately) Christianity. They even lack honesty, intelligence and wit and are quite crude and rude with it. They  resort to all sorts of lies, misinformation and disinformation --- examples are numerous: the Leopold letter, falsehood about the history of Christianity, about the Bible and its history, about the origin of the Trinity etc etc etc ad infinitum, ad nauseam. They even have no guilt or concern about deliberate and fraudulent plagiarism ----- as long as it attacks Christianity.

I think despite our shortcomings, the Christians have done quite well overall here amidst all the assaults from the scoffers, mockers, "intellectuals" etc etc
