Left for me, since our security agents cannot curtail them, then am buying the idea of negotiation, So long it will put an end to the blood being shed by them.

Re: Boko Haram Wants To Dialogue With Fg by slam7000(m): 7:12pm On Feb 07, 2012
FG should not be fooled, the so called negotiators are all sponsors and active members of boko haram,BTW,what will they be negotiating, having an islamic northi expect the likes of ibb and david mark who,ll shed their bloods for the unity of Nigeria to speak out against these people, they are the ones threatening the cooperate existence of the country, they are the ones trying to divide nigeria by issuing threats asking fellow Nigerians who are not northern indigenes to leave the north.

Re: Boko Haram Wants To Dialogue With Fg by dipo1: 7:14pm On Feb 07, 2012
Seriously, what negotiation? Nonsense. What has changed that brought about a change in their minds? Or is it because the sponsors feel they are about to be identified?

ANOTHER ERROR!!! Is it not the MEND guys we are rehabilitating that blew up an hotel 2 days ago and are also threatening to blow up South African companies here in Nigeria Since we do not recompense capital offence with the appropriate punishment, we are only setting precedence to another group to spring up sponsored by some selfish elites.

Waiting to hear the new terms.

There were indications, Tuesday, that the extremist Islamic sect, Boko Haram may be considering the invitation to dialogue with the federal government as it named some Northern leaders to negotiate with the federal government on its behalf.

The sincerity of those behind the video is engaging security analysts as it came on a day that multiple blasts rocked Kaduna town with security agencies and armed forces as target, in a Boko Haram fashion, although it had not claimed responsibility as at the time of going to press.

Those named in a video on the NTA were: Sheik Abubakar Gero, Dr. Shettima Ali Monguno, Alh Ali Bukar Ibrahim, former Governor of Yobe State.

The fourth name listed by the man behind the mask was not clear enough to be identified.

The tape which NTA claimed was delivered by an unidentified source featured two figures, fully masked in black. Only the voice of one was heard, while the other was silent.

“We here confirmed and accept the reported initiative of the President for a dialogue as a welcome development”, the speaker who did not identify himself said.

According to him, the group trusts the named leaders and said “the decision taken by these people can actually change the whole situation”.

NO! MEND and BH are not comparable. MEND's course is more reasonable than BH's struggle

since there are up to 4 factions, which of d factions want dialogue. is it d same faction dat bombed kaduna 2day?
Re: Boko Haram Wants To Dialogue With Fg by tampa1871: 7:31pm On Feb 07, 2012
It would be foolhardy for anyone to negotiate with terrorists, imagine America negotiating with Osama Bin Ladin, it should be all out war on them, after they have killed and maimed many with properties worth billions of Naira destroyed, now they want to negotiate for what, unless Jonathan is a wimp, that's the only way he would sit with them. Those brokering this should also be arrested as they know these people among them, yet they cover them, they are also liabe for their actions.
