please need help.. my iPhone 4 shows "no sim".. even when i have an etisalat sim already in....

I have had this iPhone for a few months and I've been able to use the Wi-fi with no problems until about a month ago. The wi-fi icon/logo at the top left corner just stops showing up, as a result no connection. I have done hard reset, I've reset network settings - my iPad sees same wi-fi networks but my iPhone won't.

Hi Tumababa, how did you upgrade to iOS 7 without issues? I tried it and I have not been able to activate my iphone 5 since then. Do I need internet connection throughout the duration of the upgrade?

you need internet access to activate. plus if your not a developer, u will not be able to activate your phone.

U can activate ur ios7 without being a developer. All u need to do is to enter dfu, downgrade to 613 or 614(for i5). Then u click on shift and "check for update" to select the ios7. DO NOT USE THE RESTORE BUTTON.

Datz all. U will be on ios7,no activation needed.

Dunno wats wrong with my iTunes abi na my phone sef....each time I try movin apps from d PC 2 ma phone....it ll just show "step 1. Waitin 4 sync to start" "step 2 determining apps to sync" ...dats all nd I won't c any app installed on d fone...any tips plz,help needed!

Please note that ios7 betas are for DEVELOPERS. So if u dont av any app to develop or any business with apple apps, u are installing betas at your own risk. Many settings and apps are not working properly. So don't install on device u use everyday.

because d first app u installed on d iphone is not legit. Remove any cracked app from ur iphone before trying to sync with iTunes

Until then. As long as u can downgrade thru dfu, no big deal. Its not that ur phone will blow if d beta expires!

Good. Go to cydia, search for sbsettings and install. Launch sbsettings and scroll down, u will see hide icons. Just select all d apps u want to hide.

Sign in to itunes on the device & install any free app. Then try installing from the system it should install.

Sir, I DL'd PDAnet as you said but it still didn't change the situation of things.

The problem is, the phone sees a wifi, it connects to it but it doesn't show the wi-fi icon on the home screen (at the top) hence it doesn't browse/load web pages or anything but when you go to settings - wifi; it shows connected.[/size]
