It is not about the loss in one match, but the players used in that match. Same players will play again this week, and we know they are terrible footballers. If United doesn't bring in very good midfielders, omo the wailing go loud this season....

Gakpo looked like Rashford Pro Max in that match. I wondered if he was ready for the premier league.

I see a future for him as a CF though. He has an impressive frame, lethal shot and top-notch movement.

I didn't watch the game but I have read good things about the lad. The qualities you observed sounds interesting and with proper coaching he will get better...

Height will surely be an advantage but its not a MUST have for a CB. Just like long legs is not a must-have for sprinters.
