The standards for good seems to have changed. If you watched the match, it seems just because he didn't make a mistake for the goal doesn't means he was good. He wasn't worse than most of his teammates but I would not describe his performance as good. He was average at best and you can see his lack of confidence on display. Southgate is the worst culprit.
