Heard LVG is considering playing Rooney in front of whatever back four he manages to put together. This to me will be a disaster considering Rooneys lack of deft ball control.

Lvg should leave the attack with mata, young, Fellaini and Rooney. Herrera and Valencia should play the pivot with stick instructions to one of the to be more defensively minded.

The back 4 shud be Rafael, Smalling, Mcnair and Shaw.

We shud not let this set back discourage us from going for it. Mourinho always respect United. He will do that again

OK..u won the best player twice.....does that mean when analysing defensive stats, u should be rated higher than the rest? There are different indices that favour different players..

92-93 is a close call. It points to one thing which is clear to a lot of football analysts....Ronaldo sure deserves the two consecutive world best player but there is a glitter about messi's game dat always makes him look a bit better than Ronaldo overall

Although i am sure LVG won't do this i would prefer keeping the more disciplined Valencia at RB and playing Rafael with his energy and skill at RCM (Herrera's normal position) while Herrera sits in front of the defence in Carrick's normal position.

if we had a CB who could replace Jones, I'll just play McNair as holding midfielder. he is composed & defensively aware. heard he even started as a CM, so why not?
