diggz: 40 million is already too much. The whole thing is dicey. It's a gamble, but it's another question if it's a worthy gamble. The thing I like about him though is the fact the he can also play football, not just a scorer. When you have a scorer who can also be very good in all round play, then you have a good player. Again when one looks at the fact that he has sent Adebayo and Soldado to the bench, it goes to show how good he apparently is. Kane 2407 minutes 20 goals 4 Assists in Adebayo 814 minutes 2 goals 1 Assist Soldado 792 minutes 1 goal 1 Assist. This does not include Europa where Kane further extends his lead over the rest. He made a statement from day one of Europa. One more advantage I see is the fact that he is taller (6.2) than all our current strikers, including RVP and Wilson (6.0 respectively). If trained to head, he might just be dreaded player in the box. He is quick, he has speed, he can dribble. But is not fully tested. Like we saw him struggle in the Italy friendly. |

Kemizee: Carroll had one thing going or him just like Crouch. Once that was tamed, he became useless. Same thing can be said of Bent. Physicality. Finish. Kane can lay, but one season is too small to judge. Should he deliver above 25 goals next season, he will be priced beyond reach. |

Kane is £23m @ best, any fee added is the 'English' price. there's no way LvG will pay £45m for a rookie - that cash can get Dybala & Gundogan together. we are in the UCL after a year's absence, its not like we are exactly desperate. Benzema gaan won't cost that much. |

SailorXY: I think Benz wont be a bad buy for you guys. He is a proven striker and one that will fit into LVG's present game play in the sense that he can combine well with the midfield play and also move in from the flanks. He has ample CL experience and could come cheap too. My only concern is,will he be able to face the physical nature of the EPL and remain injury free keeping in mind is recent problems with injuries? I think you guys major worry after buying him may be to keep him injury free. |

Kemizee: Bro I can agree with you that carroll was all hype from day one but,kane for me has got something special. If he needs to prove himself again and still need to improve beyond were he is now? I say YES. If he will prove the shout about him is true and worth it? I hope so as long as he keeps is head straight,the club manages him well and he stays injury free because he possesses everything a complete striker should have. 1 Like |

I will like to see Angel di Maria return to his best, this singular event will place Manchester United on another level. I'll prefer we recruit Otamendi in defence Schneiderlin or Bender and Gundogan in midfield (even all three can be bought for around £65m, no problem) Dybala in attack Oh my world!  |

AdeLaNa1:Lacazette is a poacher, just like Falcao. The need is striker who can hold up play, beat a man, and also have good eye for killer passes aimed at the goal scoring flank men. In other words, the striker will basically be a "false nine" as it is called these days. The 4-3-3 formation doesn't really need a poacher to thrive. The signing of Memphis Depay and Angel di Maria will see a full switch to the proper system. I see no need bringing a player who may not thrive in the intended primary system; and if it's a plan B thingy then we have Javier Hernandez already. Louis van Gaal's emphasis should be on the players who'll fit into the system he has in mind, and if tactics of recent weeks are anything to go by, he's going to settle on a 4-3-3 formation next campaign. 1 Like |
