 Hmm.. Its amazing how 'christians' keep arguing on such topic and each side is trying to prove themselves right from the bible.. The two views CANNOT be both right, one is definitely wrong! Well, all I'll say is this: Rev 22 11-14 "11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." I was gathering my weapon of spiritual Guerrilla Warfare using the enemies’ strengths again them like the Viet Cong? Did to the united states of America they used unspent bombs and unspent weapons again there enemy i.e. the usa troops so I am using his own words against this evil church the next time they start a war with a person they better think again? @OP, Practically, you don't understand Pastor Chris at all. I am not defending Pastor Chris because nobody is above mistake. He may have made mistakes in the fact that he said, smoking, drinking alcohol and self service are not sin. In fact I practically left CEC when he said self service is not a sin. But the issue is that, Pastor Chris in his teaching of the word, tries to make you go deeper in the things of God. There is difference between obey and DO. Some people sound to obey but they don't do according to instruction. Pastor Chris here, in the video you posted, is affirming that we should DO the word. Though it may sound confusing but that is his style. But Jesus Christ said "You are my friend if you do what I asked you..." so DO and obedience here, I think the stronger word is DO what you are called to obey. I haven't heard any wrong in these few minutes I have watched so far, but I will keep on watching and replying as I go further. |

He said nowhere in the new testament does it say you are not called to obey read the notes on the video please I made these notes to help you if you would like all the notes he said we are not called to obey and yes he told us to do that is great fantastic but he said nowhere in the new testament are we called to obey and if you read the whole new testament it does not tell us to obey |

Masturbation is nearly always the result of lustful thoughts, sexual stimulation, and/or pornographic images. It is these problems that need to be dealt with. If the sins of lust, immoral thoughts, and pornography are forsaken and overcome, masturbation will become a non-issue. Many people struggle with guilty feelings concerning masturbation, when in reality, the things that led to the act are far more worthy of repentance. There are some biblical principles that can be applied to the issue of masturbation. Ephesians 5:3 declares, “Among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity.” It is hard to see how masturbating can pass that particular test. The Bible teaches us, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). If you cannot give God glory for something, you should not do it. If a person is not fully convinced that an activity is pleasing to God, then it is a sin: “Everything that does not come from faith is sin” (Romans 14:23). Further, we need to remember that our bodies have been redeemed and belong to God. “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). This great truth should have a real bearing on what we do with our bodies. In light of these principles, the conclusion that masturbation is a sin is biblical. Clearly, masturbation is not glorifying to God; it does not avoid the appearance of immorality, nor does it pass the test of God’s having ownership over our body. |
