THE anxiety around who becomes the first Nigerian MTN/MTV Video Jocker (VJ) was on Friday night finally put to rest as Cynthia Okpala emerged the best among the four finalists in the competetion.

Cynthia, a graduate of computer science emerged as the zonal finalist of the Lagos audition of the race for who becomes the winner and automatically , the first Nigerian video jocker on MTV Base international satellite television.

Cynthia’s declaration as the winner on Friday night means that she will in the next one year showcase Nigerian artistes and their works on the satellite T V station as well as serving as an ambassador to MTN Extra Cool.

An elated Cynthia described his emergence as the winner of the competition as divine since the three other finalist can as well pass as the winner of the auditioning.

She promised to do her best possible in ensuring that Nigerian artistes are given great opportunities to exhibit their talent to the international world and also ensuring that new talents are exploited.
