I went to First bank today and they said that customers can only bid from 50million and above. Anything below has to buy from secondary Market.
I enquired about secondary market, I was told 8.5% for 66days. I'm just weak mehnn 8.5%.

It's time to head back to real estate

Primary market rates should rest around 11-12% going forward , irrespective of the fact that the FG is trying to externalized their debt portfolio they also have to make the local instruments a bit attractive for investors.

I'll have to key in For primary market in next Auction. Since secondary rates are bad.

And at the end of the day getting your principal amount becomes subject to litigation.

Nice one. Pls how much did you invest to get 9.4%?

I just walked in and ask for their secondary rates and they gave it to me. So I went for the shorter term. So it doesn't matter the amount you are investing. I made like 130k profit though, so you can do the math

Both are not wrong , different banks with different policies , sit with that which suits you best.

Primary market rate should settle around 11-12% rate by q3'18 but those days of jumbo 16-20% are gone for now .

Very bad o considering where we were coming from.

Besides, you could have gotten the same rate on FD depending on the amount you're investing.
