My dear just opt for mutual funds. I wouldn't encourage even my my enemy to go to forex, I lost more than $10k last year on a business i do not know anything of. It was after my lost that God opened my eyes I discovered this thread +MMf thread, with the little money left for me, i started MMF and Tb, though I might not be making much because my investment is small at the moment but i have peace of mind.

Please my dear to avoid story that touches the heart for now go to Money mutual fund.

Can I buy treasury bill from Stanbic without visiting the branch? I am asking because a media rep said it can only be bought by visiting a branch.

Pls I won't mind you sending it to me. The last time I got my account officer number, she doesn't and never pick. Always arrogant and cutting my call. I went to stanbic ban again and know why she doesn't pick my call as there was no explanation. Till now she doesn't pick my call.

I stand to be corrected here: are we sure we can call TB buying an investment, I say this becos the rates we are given are at per with inflation figures.

In orders words I think by buying TB we are only preserving the true value of our money. Inflation is at 12.1% if I am not mistaking and is on the increase, while TB ranges from 10 - 14% as at the last auctions, October inflation figures are not out but am sure they will be very close to TB rates.

Let's discuss this.....pls

it real rate is around 17 percent that true yield cos ur profit is given upfront.....it not like trading ennterprise that can return 40 percent annually e.g. tiles sales etc

I have always thought about this.

Like you rightly stated, you are only preserving the true value of your money.

If someone has a viable business they could do with their money, it's way better than TB.

TB is an investment for Zero loss.
