Lost close to 10kg in the first trimester too but I've added them back cuz now I'm always hungry and eat everything I see. Im so scared that horrible ms feeling would come back in third trimester, so im enjoying the pregnancy as much as I can for now. I think it all depends on how your appetite is at this stage. As long as you are healthy tho, don't see the need packing up weight that you'll be trying to lose in a few months.

Gud day able mamas, pls i need ur help, I'm one of u bt had issues wit my other acc so i had to create a new one, some 4 months back my period was reli late, tot i was pregnant wit d way i was feeling only for me to see it 2weeks later bt it wasn't as it use to be it was bright red and not as heavy, since then i hv been seeing it like dat, bt d symptoms are still there and there is this tightness i feel on my lower abdomen, i can't even describe most of d tins I'm feeling, i did pt and blood test and it was negative now I'm tinking of going for a scan bt i don't know a gud place in benin where i can do it, pls help wit recommendations. Dear able mamas pls if there is anyone dat has experienced this or has an idea wat it could be should pls enlightened me so i can b prepared before i go for a thorough check up, I'm a second time mom, pls sabi mamas don't read and pass God bless u all. Waiting anxiously for ur replies

@fruifulblissful u can go for a TVS at omvial (ugbowo ,opp God is good motors or Sapele road, opp library) or Benin radiolological beside God is good motors. If d scan shows nothing, it might be hormonal imbalance , then go for hormonal profile @ union diagnostics Sapele road.
Above all u can see a specialist gynaecologist.

Well, depend on where u are in Benin, can't say anyfin about the symptoms u are having but I can recommend 2 hospital I knw, ist try aniso hospital by s and t market junction, uselu...try and see d gynae(enabudoso) or doctor(ugbodaga) dre charges are kinda on a high side.... Den u can also try lilly hospital, off golf road close to nysc zonal office oredo...Ask to see d gynae...Mr chudi...both hospital can conduct scan for u...

Yes, the drama started, I was screaming the roofs down, I was told to push with each contraction but I just couldn't and then I was closing up my legs! The nurses strapped my legs up and told me to push, I was just weak. I started shouting , I am loosing strength o , my babies must not die o, call the doctor and bring out my babies".

Hubby said please you pple should bring the consent form please, I need my wife and babies alive! The nurses were hesitant, hubby put a call across to the doctor anfld within minutes, I was wheeled into the theater. My babies came out weighing 3.4kg and 3kg. Scan can lie I swear. I was cleaned up and placed on oxygen while my vitals were monitored in screen. One of the twins had to be placed under photo therapy because of jaundice but she is hale and hearty now.

MamaO, thanks so much, ur ABO compatibility experience helped me a lot. It helped me tell the doctors on time to check for d jaundice as I share a diff blood group with hubby.

I am grateful to God for the gift of life, my babies and I are fine and doing well now.

I am sorry I didn't conclude my BS on time . Thanks to all mamas on this thread, the love we share is so amazing. May our joy always be full.

mama's how are we all doing. I have been away as a result of no mb to browse. Went for my antenatal checkup on tuseday and was given eardrops for my ear, doctor said I should still observe the vaginal itches maybe it is just irritation. I ran through the leaflet of the eardrop and it says not recommended during pregnancy, and I had this fear that I ruptured my eardrum while cleaning it so I decided not to use the eardrop at all. would have gone to see an ENT specialist since the pain started but becos of finance I couldn't go. I was able to raise 5k so I went to book for appontment in the general hospital with an ENT doctor. He suction my ear twice and I couldn't believed what came out of it, ear wax, paper, cotton bud. He wanted to suction it for the third time but I started feeling dizzy (dunno why, maybe its a common effect of the procedure) immediately I told the doctor that my eyes were turning me he stopped, though I wanted him to continue because I don't have another money to come for the procedure again, cos he said there were still stuffs in the ear. He placed me on dressing of the ear for three days, that alone will cost 3k for that three days, (you can imagine) dunno why he said I should be coming for dressing o, its not as if pus is coming out from the ear. Though my hearing is not completely back, he said the ear drop and the dressing will do the remaining work. I am so happy that my hearing is better now because this past 6days I have been feeling pain in the ear, accompanied with pressure in my head and I couldn't hear clearly. Its the worst feeling ever, especially when I'm in a crowded place. I have not been able to teach properly, because even when I'm talking I can't hear myself, was so scared that I was going to lose my hearing, was scared that I won't be able to sing in the choir again cause I couldn't hear my own voice, twas as if I'm talking from my head. In as much as the money pained me so much cos that one would have atleast bought a flask or somethn for the baby. I thank God that my hearing is better now and I am not going deaf. Lesson learnt, I will never clean my ears again with anything, cos I am so obssesed with sticking things in my ear whenever it itches me, if I can't get cotton bud I either use a bobby pin or roll up paper to clean my ear, doctor said its bad to clean your ears even with cotton bud, that you end up pushing more ear wax further into your ear canal which can cause an ear infection. I still have'nt gone shopping o, but i believe the God I serve will meet me at the point of my needs, I strongly believe things will get better soon. I just pray I get to my expected due date, that's one of my prayers. Please mama's pray for me, pray that God should open doors of financial breakthrough for my family and I. Hubby said I'll be going to stay with SIL after I deliver. God I just pray things get better soonest.

chai this financial breakthrough brought tears to my eyes as your situation no different from mine but God is still God, keep hope alive okay!
