My baby no get one single element of shame. Gender was seen earlier than usual sef, I think it was at 15/16 weeks he just open leg yakata, I was having an early scan cos of fibroid issues. Hubs wanted a girl so he was asking the guy if he was sure (as per maybe he no see well). Dude said "oga forget about it, your wife don win this one"

Good morning mamas..hope u all slept well...plz wanted to know if its possible to loose d mucus plug as early as 31/32weeks? And those it spell danger? I av been having sum funny looking discharge, sumtyms it becomes too much, sumtyms its slightly yellow or cloudy milky and it feels like baby is always down in my pelvis moving and kicking....I think I bent down 2much this morning and noticed d discharge became much, when I cleaned up I saw a faint red stain, not much at all...got me thinking if its from d tissue or me.

All mamas abeg don't pass me by....

Hi Teamies, how are we doing? Hope we are gradually defeating MS. We should be in our 2nd trimester by now and we must have registered for our ANC. I took my 1st TT & malaria tablet yesterday.
I understand we can't see baby gender yet but let's supply our EDD.

How far with the headache, pains and swelling?
How far gone are we with shopping for baby things?
How far with our bumps? Am sure some of us are already showing.

I am 1st July by lmp n all my scan put me at june but i am jejely sticking witg june so that what happen in 1960 wont happen again.
As par d sex....my sonograhper told me if he shld write d sex at my 16wks scan but i told him no dat i wasn't ready to know yet.

My next ANC is by first week of feb. Have taken just TT1 no malaria tabs yet. Guess I have to go register at the general hospital too. Don't eat much. My belly button is protruding and it's painful.

Nicoleswizzi, yes it's possible to lose one's mucus plug at any particular time in pregnancy but it's not normal when you aren't close to being due yet.
My advice, bcoz of ur recent past history, get those feet off the ground and bedrest for a couple of days /weeks, good thing is that mucus plug "regenerates", how fast? I don't know, but it does grow back.
Most importantly call ur doctor if any medical attention is needed ,or if u need to have an ultrasound to have a cervical length measurement.
It is well with you, God didn't fail before, so be expectant that he won't fail now!

Welicome teamie what kind of story is that? Have you registered for ante-natal? If you have, then your doctor would have told you what he is going to do. I don't think you should be scared. My doctor already explained what he will do since I have a rhesus negative. I wish you a healthy pregnancy.

that slightly yellow/cloudy discharge u talked about seems like a candidal infection. It's very common in pregnancy. Any itch? I don't think it's ur mucous plug u saw. It is described like catarrh mixed with blood. Increased blood flow to the jajaina, esp plus an infection could hv caused that faint red stain IMO. I saw it once at 33 weeks also.
But if it happens again pls see ur doc.

Yh i have severe itching and am using an inserting pill for d Infection... D problem is some night I forget to Insert it...out of tayadness...guess dats why am having lots of discharge... Baby napkin is d old type now...baby diaper is like eg pampers, molfix and d rest....baby napkin was what was written in my hospital card but during antenatal we were asked to cancel and replace with diaper...dunno who uses napkin again these days...to be very sure ask dem nurses when u go for antenatal...

Lol I don't mind sha. My gynea is so backward, he's calculating my due date with my lmp date and he told me I'm 29 weeks 3 days today, when I'm supposed to be atleast a week ahead of that according to first scan. I just give up, I'm not counting again
