Baby is 8weeks now. Still cries at night but not as bad as the early days. He smiles at me now and it's such a wonderful experience.

Thanks for the suggestion, however at moment things are stablising on the treatment she is receiving and it seems the doctors are giving her better care. So I am little more hopeful at the moment.

To all my sisters who prayed & are still praying - the Lord has answered!

I had my baby girl late wednesday night after a whole day of labor & complications which resulted in an emergency C-section. I'll be back to tell the full story but make una help me thank God. She weighed 7.8pds with a full head of long curly hair(that def didnt come from me lol) and is in perfect health. I'm still in the hospital for another day or 2. I will be back with a full report once we get home & settle in. Thanks again to ALL of you for the kind words & prayers, you're all the best.

@ Dudugirl.....to tighten the koko, you have to do your pelvic exercises..my mum's family tradition is to sit in hot water everyday for 2 months....my mum and her sisters swear by it. they say it goes back to normal.

@imurboss, I read it should be used from 32 weeks for it to be effective cos most tonics need to be used regularly, for a tonic is to the cells much like exercise is to the muscles; not much help when done irregularly . Since ur due this mth, I don't know if it wld be much help.

I culled this from the internet.
Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus) tones the uterus, improves contractions and decreases constipation.The consensus seems to be that while taking raspberry leaf tea, it should not be expected to bring the onset of labor forward, it might shorten the second stage of labor.
When to use: There are two basic points of view on the subject. There is agreement among many clinicians that in the 3rd trimester frequent (2- 3 cups per day of tea or 1 – 2 cups per day of infusion) is beneficial to the uterine and pelvic muscles.
Red Raspberry Leaves do not start or encourage labor. It can help the contractions to be productive once true labor has begun because it strengthens the uterine and pelvic muscles but it is not an oxytonic herb (one that would induce labor).

I read lots of testimonials of women that drank this tea, and had shorter labor because the tea tones the uterus, making the muscles contract stronger.
