How come no one has checked gender yet. I first checked Giddybaby's gender at 13 weeks but this time around I'm not so curious. I want a boy so I can have one of each gender and be done with childbearing, I also want a girl so she can wear Guddybaby's clothes and cuz hubby wants another girl. Maybe id have boy/girl twins but i strongly think its a girl again.

I'd be starting antenatal around August, I'm not even in the mood yet. What else sef, MS has left me 80%. But I still feel weak, nauseous sometimes but no more vomiting, always hungry and too much saliva . So much for honeymoon, I'm hoping it would still get better.

I want to start by thanking God for the conception and delivery of my baby. His conception was a testimony as I was a waiting mom(TTC) for over 3years battling with pcos. I had an uneventful pregnancy except time of threatened miscarriage at 12weeks and preterm contraction at 18weeks. Thereafter, everything continued with no issue until I was 35weeks when I started frequent urination. I assumed it was normal urination associated with pregnancy. It started with me waking up in the middle of the night with soaked bed. I noticed I couldn't hold my "urine" as it was coming uninhibited. It became so bad dt I had to start wearing pad even with that, my clothes still get stained with urine. I will feel the urge to urinate and immediately after urinating, I will start leaking. I complained at antenatal and I was directed to do scan querying PROM(premature rupture of membrane - draining liquor). Scan showed normal fluid level but my doctor said I should start antibiotics just for prophylaxis. The all issue got me confused and I continued with the assumption that it was urine.

BS (part 2)
At 36weeks 6days, I noticed blood on wiping after urinating and I told my doctor who said I should come and see her. I started having mild contraction. When my doctor examined me, she noticed my private part was wet and immediately she inserted her hand, liquor broke and gushed out though not much. I was already 2cm dilated then so she said I should go and get my things and come back to the hospital for admission. Contractions then started in full force though no progression in size of cervix after about 10hours since onset of labor. I was to be induced when this coldness started with shivering, my temperature increased and my baby's heart rate also increased which are signs of infection pointing that my so called uncontrollable urine drainage was liquor drainage bit by bit. I was still contracting when the decision was made to go ahead with CS because of fetal distress as na precious baby so no risk must be taken. I was taken to the theater and my baby came out screaming his lungs out exactly 2days before my 4th wedding anniversary to the glory of God weighing 3.2kg at 36weeks 6days.
We (both mother and baby) were started on antibiotics, baby placed on drip. About 3days post CS, baby was noticed to have jaundice and placed under phototherapy for 3days. To the glory of God, we were both discharged on day 6 and baby and mother are doing very great. That was how July mum ported to June.

It looks like I'm the only June mama yet to welcome her LO. I can't walk properly, my vagina aches always, looks like my pelvic bone wants to break yet I'm not feeling the tiniest of contractions or even mucus. We are already in week 39.4 . When would this my oga come and see his mummy and daddy? I've told hubby that as from today we would be having sex morning and night so as to bring out this our oga sharp sharp, it's doing me like he wants to come July because I'm not even experiencing any contraction at all,i need him to come this month cos the wait is taking too long.

just rinse and squeeze,what I did to make it easier was,I cut into pieces put and blend with a blender,then pour inside a filter and press out the juice it was easier for me that way,I ate it raw too.I bought #200 worth, ate half raw and blended the rest,then mix with malt.I took it just 2 days before I delivered o and
My pcv was 35% after my surgery o, even my doctor asked me what I took sef ,because throughout my pregnancy my pcv was 29.When you buy,make sure u use all before the leaf turns yellow.

MY BABY GAL BS


So its our first child (after a miscarriage on first attempt) and all was going well, DW moved to my parents house in lagos 2 weeks before the EDD and i have been jejely following this thread from month 5( God bless everyone that makes this platform work)

so down till her EDD DW was just there still on normal routine, very active, no pains or any discomfort at all till she crossed the due date, i was not worried since she is okay and d baby was doing fine in her duplex tummy, i would joke that my baby is still finishing her make-up (sinve wifey always delay me too wit dat). Long story short, EDD crossed a week, started getting worried but then made it an habit of asking every hour on d hour if she is not feeling anything. with a straight face she always answers No.

fast forward to last friday, baby was 42+ weeks and wifey have said all prayers and assured herself its that night, came bak to lag and it was all as usual, i vex ask, wont doctor induce you like dis, she said doctor says till next week (apparently he miscalculated or forgot her period). issokay then i said, hopefully baby comes bedore then.

saturday morning after her morning bath, she noticed small water, but then just washed it off (wifey can bathe for africa) so she leaked a bit and we ddnt know, still kept asking the are you feeling anything question and answer was d same. we slept Saturday night hoping d next day is d day, then viola! she woke me sunday morning and informed me her wrapper was wet and d mattress too, u will soon start feeling contractions i assured her, dusted d hospital bag and put in a side, told her to hold till its a bit clear before we drive down to d clinic since she is not feeling anything yet and it was drizzling.

she climbed staircase all by herself, we gusted to d car +i come confuse if wifey is in any labor at all, abi na urine dey bed) we got to the clinic and told d nurse on duty that my wife have leaked water, d way wifey just sat down dere sef is not comvincing that she is in any labor, then i rushed and unmute myself here to get beta insight while i wait for Doc. (tanx zanie et all for ue responses). Apparwntly, doctor was not around (later found out d nigga travelled) we wr asked to go home and come bak when she feel any pain.

So we went bak home, on mission wifey must feel contractions, she started walking round d building, pound yam, chase chickens, instead of contractions, we got more water, dis time i saw clearly and was very confused, madam i asked agaian, are you sure u ar okay? she say yes, are you sure my baby is okay? she said baby has not moved in a while.

i entered overdrive straight up (my baby was very active all through pregnancy) devil is a liar i thought, asked again on this forum and got same answer, madam i called her, u ar going to bring my baby today, let us go bak to the clinic and get u induced. We got there past 3pm and dey gave her a pill, i told her how d process will be +this group don make me semi infant doctor), after the first pill, she started having back ache and stomach ache (in my mind i was like finally!)...i believed we av started d journey only for nurse to check and say her cervix is not opened at all, u say wetin, biko give am anoda one, two and three pills and cervix no open oo(the doctor sent a colleague to replace him) na here we go dey in my mind, wifey was furious too (clinc staffs attitude didnt help) We were ther till doctor returned oo( grannies were disoriented already) Doctor took his time too before attending to us (untill my wife eat chicken and chips before i will forgive him). He ddnt bother checking her, administered injection for her back and told us to do some scan d next day. We went back home heads down.

9.2 is very low mama, eat more green leafy veggies! Just stem it with dried,
fresh fish or crayfish and eat like that or with rice.

Squeeze Ugu and drink the water don't add milk.

Chew garden egg leaf.

Adding a blood tab to the veggie meal will give you a boost in a week or two.


Mine was 10.5 when started antenatal and my doctor placed me on ferrous tablet immediately.

A healthy gauge for a pregnant woman should be 12. Up wards.

On a second look, i saw d word severe ( my heart hanged in my throat) her condition was termed SEVERE OLIGOHYDRAMNIOS , dragged google out and started reading again, then theh say its when the water protecting d baby is not enough, ah! i shivered. wifey is back with the doctor already and he advised a CS be done ASAP, not thinking twice i gave consent, told the report in office wanka! took the next bus bak to Lagos, pkugged in wifey favorite song (thats d only song on my phone ) . got bak as if i flew, wifey is vn prepared already, went home to change into something else ( have dis clothe i always picture me wearing qhen i meet my cute baby gal). On getting bak to the clinic, em say dey don start already Ahba! i ddnt get to talk to my wifey na, grandma was already calling d God she serves.)


Then something happened, my wife was screaming ontop of her voice, are this people mad? i thought, what am i paying for if my wife still screams and feel pain during her CS, drag one of the nurses that came out of the theatre and questioned why she was in pain, apparently wifey was subconscious and thinks she is just sikently praying, few minute i hear peson knack person and one voice started crying, grand ma acknowledged baby arrival in prayer started requesting her wife be retuned too ( definitly u will take your cash and then card when u use the machine). in like 40min or an hour, all was done, my wife was moved out, baby gal was cleaned up too at 3.2kg. tears dropped from my eye when wifey called me, first thing she said was dint worry, i will give you two more(wifey love me die) told her to chill then she started giving list if pple i need to call ( i hardly can live without her) took that and baby was brought to me, i ran( a whole baby, as in human being, and u say its my own) give baby to grandma i told nurse.
