thank u ma. It was prescribed by my dr at ANC. I do cough out white sputum (like cattarh stuffs). Is lime good during preg? Thou, d symptoms as bn dre before preg but only in d morn but now its all day since I got preg. Tnks

Been doing some research on preventing mcs and I have decided to try some Herbals if I can lay my hands on them. Jumia. com has a few.

Herbal remedies to prevent a miscarriage include:

Black Haw: Black Haw (Viburnum prunifolium)
Black haw and Cramp bark are considered among the most important uterine antispasmodics. These herbs have the ability to relax smooth muscle, for example: intestines, uterus, airway. They also are relaxing for striated muscle as well, these are muscles attached to the skeleton, like the ones in your limbs. It has been used for hundreds of years to help prevent miscarriage. If there is uterine cramping without cervical dilation, Black haw and Cramp bark have been used to help stop uterine spasm, contractions, bleeding and nervous tension in early pregnancy.
Black Haw has been used to treat menstrual and pregnancy-related problems since the early 19th century. The roots and stem of the Black Haw plant are used to prepare for labor, prevent miscarriages and reduce post-partum pains. Black Haw contains salicin and scopoletin that work as anti-spasmodic agents and are believed to help reduce uterine contractions.Black haw has also been reported to help strengthen a weak cervix, Miscarriages caused by weak uterine muscles or a loose cervix respond well to Black Haw herbal medications. You can take this herb in the form of a tea, tincture or capsules.

False Unicorn Root: The roots of the False Unicorn plant contain compounds that may help improve fertility and prevent miscarriages. If taken before conception, False Unicorn Root is believed to improve the chances of pregnancy. During pregnancy, the herb can help tighten uterine muscles and prevent miscarriages causes by a prolapsed uterus or weak cervix. Reports show that False Unicorn Root can increase the levels of human chorionic gonadotropin and arrest a miscarriage even after contractions have begun.

Cramp Bark (Viburnum opulus)Used traditionally as a preventative for recurrent miscarriage. This herb has been shown to reduce spasm of the uterine muscles and ovaries. Cramp bark works to relieve uterine irritation, relax the muscles, with specific action on the uterus. This herb slowly relaxes the nervous system as well. This combination of actions may help prevent miscarriage in women with a history of miscarriage.


Partridgeberry (Mitchella repens) a.k.a Squaw-vine :This herb is toning and supportive of the tissues of the body, mainly the uterus, ovaries and urinary tract. Partridgeberry is often used in the case of a weakened uterus due to lack of menstruation, pelvic stagnation (related to many fertility problems), previous surgical procedure to the uterus, and hormonal imbalance. Partridgeberry is helpful when the woman is experiencing painful cramping, uterine spasm, bleeding, and/or passing of blood clots in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Other herbs recommended to prevent a miscarriage include Maca (to treat hormonal imbalance), and Red Raspberry Leaf (to tone the muscles of the uterus and improve the development of the fetus).
While there are no guarantees to prevent a miscarriage, herbal remedies may help reduce stress, balance out hormones, improve nutrition and strengthen the uterine muscles. I don't if anyone has experienced an evacuation and got pregnancy immediately after 1 menstrual cycle. kindly share your experience please............

If you know anyone that makes T- shirt , you can buy a plain flannel and customise it. If you are unable to buy plain flannel, go to Yaba, I am 90% sure they will have flannel material for sale.

Modath has dragged me here by the hair.
Please read my posts, dating back to Oct 2014 and Dec 2014.
I had once cycle and 8 weeks interval btwn the episode and my Whooper baby.
By the way she is now 10 weeks and weighs 7.5kgs

Doctors say you are most fertile within the 1st 3mths after birth or a miscarriage. So get to work kpekusing and enjoy it.
