The attention is super awesome now. Especially at work. I'm 24weeks and my baby has started telling the whole world that he/she is coming. All my bosses &colleagues and most strangers are now super caring.
But the worst part is finding clothes to wear sha. I lost a gown and trousers just this morning again but its all good.

@beauty,Lol....am not a foodie oo,I've bin on diet and exercise since Nov last year,so I do portion control a lot.The food dey always cause quarel btw DH and I sef but this cravings are wot I dnt jst understand.Once I sight what am craving for sef,to chop am go turn wahala.
Anytime I eat well,DH go dey happy say I no starve him baby.*lol*

I hope I'm ok, I'm 23+6 weeks and can still fit in my clothes. I still wear my jeans fully buttoned. I just hope baby is growing normally.

@ Honey86 , first pregnancies are usually smaller,you ll really start showing at 28weeks.Your baby is ok.

Dont bother urself dear, babies grow @ different rates, plus you might have had a really flat tummy before taking in...
@Rukemi i lost 2 jeans and a top dis mornin too and am just 22 weeks, d attention is great though.....

@byvan and fnor thanks you guys. I have never had a flat tummy, and that is why its kinda worrying. The good thing is my baby is very active so I guess all is well.

let me not lie, I actually have a big tummy.after my first baby, I lost all the extra weight but eventually due to lack of exercise, everytin came back double.
I was actually working on my weight wen I got pregnant again so no more dieting or exercise. Anyway, still enjoying d attention.

@honey, u don't have to worry, the most important is dat baby is active. I didn't start showing until 24wks with first pregnancy.

@honey86. Now i fear o. I have really shown. I just hope baby isn't getting too big. Abi i am carrying three ni? But scan saw one o. I once had a very flat tummy and wore size 28 trousers &skirt. But not anymore o.

@byvan. It's also my first preg o. I remember i once wrote here that i am not showing... Now i don show wella but i'm not getting so fat. I now weigh 58 remember i was 53?

@fnor. I just hope i wont wake one day to see that i have nothing to wear out. Maybe i should start sewing iro and buba...

My clothes no longer fits me, infact I started wonderin hw I wore them before, my suit is way too small now I can't even button them cos of my bust, I jst fold all d clothes hopin to use them as a standard of sliming down once my LO comes.

I hope my boobs won't burst before lo arrive cos the thing just dey big. I had a massive boobs before but the rate at which its growing bigger,I can't even explain. May God see us thru this interesting journey oooo.

i got a scare last week, had very brown discharge one evening. prayed and cried all night did some online research and what i found wasn't encouraging, some said thats the beginning of a miscarriage.

i prayed and prayed and told chizita that he still has about 29 weeks to stay put..... well thankfully it was an infection, candidaisis. dr said pregnant women get that alot he also said to be careful of what i read online for e.g., dat chloroquine is safer for very early pregnancy and that p alaxin contains a med dat should be avoided for early pregnancy.

Didn't register for antenatal anyway, said to stop the asthma crisis first and come back for ante natal next week. im on medication now and the attack is not as severe. my baby is doing well..... the gates of hell can never prevail, Amen

Aww, Thank God for u and Chizita. Even though you havent started ante natal i would like to advice to atleast start some kind of prenatal vitamins, pregnacare, etc or at the very least take folic acid daily. Really impprtant at this stage. I wouldnt even recomend p-alaxin at any stage of pregnancy at all. Be careful of what you read online even though what you read online can save you, it can also cause undue stress etc. like when i was about 21 to 22 weeks pregnant i started having contractions (i think it was due to malaria which i was delayed to treat for 2 days,because i wasnt sure and i hate taking drugs without being absolutely sure) so i went to the hospital and they scanned , then referred me to see the consultant , i went to see her and immediately she looked at my file she said i should come for surgery the next day that i am having a threatened miscarriage and only a cerclage can save my pregnancy. I asked her questions but i noticed her answers werent very direct, she could only tell me that my cervix is short and if i dont do cerclage i will have miscarriage, she didnt even perform a va.gi-nal examination or anything. My dear i entered research mode o, first i noted my cervix length in the lab report then i went home and did all the research i did ( while i continued on my malaria drug) both on the net and textbooks( I'm a pharmacist so i know which textbooks to find information) I found out that i had none of the indications for a short cervix, or a need for operation. i did two more scans on my own and found out that my cervix was not shorter than normal according to textbook standard or internet standard and i even learnt that there are greater risks of having a cerclage at 20 weeks except its an emergency and most doctors would prefer a wait and manage approach rather than a cerclage once a pregnancy is approaching 22 weeks. to cut long story short i ran for my dear life. And since i finished my malaria drugs i havent had any issues again, I'm at 28 weeks and my cervix is still very much intact and long.
In this case the internet saved me from unnecessary risk and cost of having a very unnecessary operation that could have put me at further risk and everytime i think about the fear, and the stress that consultant put me through ehn, but in all i thank God.

@ wowfactor, i heard one can become pregnant 2wks after a miscarriage, by God's grace soonest you will join us with ur testimony.
mummies in d house, a friend of mine thats breastfeedin asked me if d eczema on her bosom will not after her baby, i asked for what she's used but she said nothing cos a nurse told her not to worry dt it does not affect the baby but she is still worried. the baby is just 2 months old pls what can she do about this.

Please, is the holy comunion not alcoholic? alcohol is totally discouraged in pregnancy o no matter the %.
