Competitiveness has nothing to do with the number of points a team won the league with. It is just a record to show how incredible the winning team was.
There will always be incredible teams that will equal or set another incredible record.


Its about what other teams are willing to do to catch up to you the current winner.

Not all but most. Off hand I can mention that they didn't deserve to win the Chelsea game, Tottenham 2nd leg, Wolves first leg, United first leg, Sheffield first leg.
All this game either had the opposition losing easy chances or they conceding from stupid mistakes.

a team cannot stay consistent over a long period time in the epl like other leagues because other teams are not sleeping and they want to be better than you unlike other unambitious teams from other leagues in europe. That's the point.
