The comparable to Jamie's comment will be saying Martial is Henry + Shearer + Ronaldo rolled into one

VVD is being compared to all timers in the league someoone like Vidic is at least 3 times better, and a player like Jaap Stam is definitely better

Players like Vidic and have carried the defence all by themselves doing great in Europe conceding 5 goals on the way to winning the CL while VVD has led his defence to concede more goals in the CL group stage this season alone. The less said about last season the better.
