I am expecting money from overseas through either western union money transfer or moneygram. I want to know the procedure for collecting money through this means? What are the information that you must supply to get the money from the bank. Please explain the various stages?

depending on which country you are in, you would only need a PASSPORT and the transfer number, et voila!

Apart from international passport, can one use national identity card and or drivers license as replacement for international passport. Thanks

yes, you can!.... Av received my money thru western union with just my school ID before. But nowadays, the banks request for National ID.

Go to the bank and ask them required info needed to receive Western Union.
