My first child is Ten years old now, I started advising and cautioning him since he was Four, but up till now he doesn't seem to listen but his younger sisters will always adhere to my instructions, does it mean that he don't want to hear or he will change as time goes on.

How do you correct him?if you are not careful that young man will be very uncontrollable few years down the line. Do you just correct him without making sure he heeds to correction? What do you do when he flaunts your orders? Have u tried spanking or punishment like with holding some privileges from him? The way you will train ur baby girl might be a bit diffrent from the young man.

By now your son should understand your facial expressions and behaviours when he flaunts your orders.

U dont mix liberty with caution. When u caution a four year old child without following him up to get it done he tends to act on the liberty of ur actions. Even at ten, if you caution a child, wait and see him do it properly and also make him understand why he has to do it right at all times and would- be- punishment if he fails and make sure its followed to the later. Every child has the ability to hear and respect you, its all dependent on what u have made him/her believe about u.
