chyk2020: Please house i salute you all, i just got my 2nl and case number is 2013AF00007*** and forms was sent to kcc on 5th june and interview Nov. But pls house i have a challenge. during the application, my wife used her family name (i.e Maiden name) to apply instead of my own Family name as the husband because we just finished our wedding then and she has not done the change of the name thing. but during the filling of the ds230 form she used my name as her family name to fill the form which we return to kcc, pls i want to ask if my family name as the husband on the international passport, will it be ok or what do you suggest i do. pls house help. i am the principal applicant.

The 2nd NL is NOT mailed to anybody as KCC, by policy, do not send notification via mails. You only receive an Email from them telling you to log in with your confirmation number (the same you used to check your initial notification letter). So basically, you visit the same www.dvlottery.state.gov and follow exactly d same procedure u used when checking your status. The first NL should b replaced by a fresh Interview Invitation letter (or 2nd NL) which gives u d time and date for your interview.

My own mail got into the spam folder- so I'll advice you to check that as well- especially IF your CN falls below 8500 and IF you submitted on time...

There is nothing to fear but fear itself... I believe that if God was kind enough to choose you as one of the selectees, then he'll definitely finish the work he started.

You just gotta b honest, that's all. Don't get entangled with a girl- and claim "marriage", when you're not. Don't lie to make yourself look good. If you really wrote your WAEC and Degree yourself, if that pretty girl whom you're taking along with you is lawfully your wife, then why fear?

I'm still waiting for my interview, but I already know too well, that all I need to do is pray, prepare and speak only the truth. I don't have fear on my agenda. You shouldn't either...

when i collected my police report i realized the my name has been misspelled on it. please house when you are taking your documents double check to see if your names are spelled correctly. i had to go back the the headquarters for the mistake to be verified although it took just 5 minutes i am glad i noticed the mistake.
