Some NLers just base their conclusions on captions. As mods ensure that the title of such thread reflect what's written in it even if you wanna make it catchy. Thanks

What am saying is that, I saw one this guy on the forum, have forgotten the name on his username, but what I know is that there's this guy "something something something" that directly put advert of inspired Autos and his link on every post he replies to. He's done it over time and I was like following his footsteps. What can you say about that?

If this guy is found out to be spamming forums then he'll risk been banned. That others are doing it doesn't make it right. next time you find someone spamming the forum, it's your duty as Nwa Afor Nairaland to report the person so that mods will take appropriate action.

^Moderators can edit/modify thread stories and titles before they get to home page. And can request for changes in the home page title cos we have access to Seun and Mukina2.

We only dont determine what thread makes it to home page, but we can recommend threads for home page, just like you.

@OAM4J: I've been having issues with banning and hiding my posts. My adverts for the past 3 months now have been hidden, though I put dem in d advert page. Also, tried putting sth on the building materials thread of d property section, like evryone there was doing on dat same thread. But got banned. Even on the computer mrkt section, like evryone else is doing there. My post gets hidden. And No, I don't do only adverts. My regular posts have made frontpage several times.
Am I doing sth wrong, or are adverts for only a select few. Pls enlighten me more so I can avoid such again. Tks.

Sorry, you were banned and your posts were hidden by the antispam bot.

Get in touch with the moderators in those section and they will look into your case. In the meantime will try and Inform Mukina2 about it as well.

Mods please which section does mukina moderate for. I guess he for the general forum.. I can't understand why he banned me (Mukina.garry). Serious is not that I made a wrong comment or I spammed any thread you can check for your self but al of a sudden I saw banned on my profile. Why na Mod, I demand an explanation on this. I couldn't reply to anyones post all because of the ban not until am using a friends username to report my anger.. I did not breach any terms or whatever just because of my screen name. Where was it stated in your terms for choice of screen name.. I seriously just feel like using one of this my good software Xrummer and ahref to create millions of profile account under minutes on nairaland now and start posting and leave you to keep banning or just use tje traffic bot softwares to send huge page views at once to frontpage thread so as to slow down load time of other real readers and cause error pages 'gateway'... hanhan, seriously the ban is paining me because I commited no offense. u just ban someone for no crime commited. canh't seun draw up a whitelist of posters who pyguru should ignore - sometimes, while going through his profile , i see his posts have been hidden.

pyguru is a spam bot, not an insult bot or flamebot, so it should be easy to do, imho. just draw up a whitelist of posters, or maybe people can apply to be on the list - but this issue where you type a long epistle and pyguu eats it up, it is not it

Please Mods free me from the claws of Antispambot...pyguru. The damn bot too like my handle. Please it's on my jugular vein again...restraining me from posting in health section till 3rd march. I only wanted to update my thread on first aid.

I cant reach the Mods there 'cause i cant post and the Mods in health section are either too proud or too scared to follow members back so can't even mail them.
