Christ!!!!! So so sad.. Rest in peace Bossman, he was an inspiration to a lot here, i personally saw and learnt a lot from his threads. Dude was a legend of car talks. |
Looks good.... Looking like a Tundra alternative. |
lazkizz:Great job, how are you guys handling the security situation? Because as soon as i saw the picture with a vast view that looks unending i got scared immediately about safety. Hope you guys are being very watchful and have escape routes. |
MasterJayJay:INSECURITY, Lack of power and most Importantly Corruption in all level of government. If they get the loans he is talking about, on what farms are they going to use it? Same ones that have been overrun by terrorists, or held hostage by them?. |
It's not the failure of the parties, it's the failure of individuals. The earlier everyone starts pointing at the bad eggs regardless of party affiliation, the better for the country. Parties can never lead, individuals do hence the need to have the right people at the helm of affairs in every level of governance, and not just vote party. When it goes wrong criticise, investigate and kick that individual out collectively if need be and stop the blind followership. This attitude of "everybody is a saint as long as they are in my party" need to stop. |
In this difficult times? Guess everyone is trying to survive lol. |
Good morning Gazzuzz, please i have a 2008 corrola that had over heating issue and came with a different AC compressor (not for corrola) so i changed it along side the rad fan (which i was told was the reason for the overheating). Now the overheating has stopped when driving on a norm, but as soon as i turn on the AC, the temperature guage rises toward the highest and goes back to mid as soon as i turn it off back. This frightens me due to the trauma i faced on 3mb while battling overheating on a regular. Please any advice will be greatly appreciated as i am always on the move very early and late at nights and this isn't the time to be having car issues in Lagos. Modified: I also noticed that my fuel guage wasn't accurate, i took it to a rewire and he said the fault is from the brain box and that it will go back to normal after some time. |
What's your best price and is there any faults (repaired or not) i should know about?? |
nurey:I don't mind the elantra (if you have one please point me to the direction), but it's the availability that is the issue. Thanks very much for your response, i appreciate |
Please advice on which is best, Toyota corrola 2005 or Hyundai accent 2012. Want to use it as a daily driver and e hailing when free. Same price range, both Nigerian used. Cc Gazzuzz nurey Still urgently looking for a sound/good corrola 05-07 at a reasonable price if any, please recommend. |
A country so blessed with everything, yet suffer from everything. |
Omo!!! Raise up your hand if you read it as 100million, 200million, and then realised how much of a Bleep up you were when you read 4×100m before realising it was meter and a race not money ![]() |
AjiBussu:I know that guy. He is a good liar, he once told us he doesn't do a show on the mainland, but baba dey live for mainland and drives one dead kia sorento. |
Lack of graduate trainee programs, lead to lack of work experience, which in turn leads to desperation to meet up with requirements for a job opportunity. I would say the government failed the ordinary citizens without connections but worst of all, foreigners are obviously occupying all the slot for the Nigerian citizens in the name of "expertriate" even when they are only coming to learn or handle that sort of project for the first time. If you think i am out of point, check multinationals handled by Lebanese, Chinese, and Indians. Unfortunately they dominate 70% of our industries (fmcg, construction, etc) which would have employed and trained most of our graduates. And o ye "HR" personals trying to find the perfect instead of best fit should hide your heads in shame, someone gave you that opportunity even when you knew little, learn to give people the same opportunity and watch them grow. Nigerians aren't lazy, they just lack the opportunity to show what they can do. |
Do your Job, but don't try to frustrate people more by making it pretty difficult for no reason . |
Good development, but it's not just by building stadiums, they have to be utilized... We have stadiums in lagos lying in wait for the once in a blue moon tournament. And this is a state with greater amount of grassroot tournaments, football academies, and sports people. Smaller football fields for each local government in the state would be a better and more effective infrastructure than one big stadia without use. The government should look into that instead. |
Lolz Even though this is a good move (at least we know one day it will finally happen that we have the electric cars in the country) we definitely don't have what it takes to actualize this at the moment. No light, no willing investors to build charging stations (cause lets face it, the charging stations will have to be powered by gas at least) and we can't bost up to the 9 hours of light required to at least charge the car to max. So as usual, it's still a car of the future for us here in Nigeria. Too bad |
Everybody is involved in politics but the problem with the country is they play politics before, during and after the election and still continue to play politics till their tenure ends, hence no time to really govern the people and give them basic amenities or make impact enough to develop the country. And i am 100% sure the new service chiefs will be same, cause i am sure they were picked based on politics and not merit. |
We have too many educated people with lack of knowledge and understanding or bias filled opinion in the country. This is supposed to be a private sector business, run by private individuals, on a private land/ranch. If they can't buy lands, and graze their cows then keep the cows away from people's land/farm. How hard can it be? |
Lolz. contigiency:Watin concern police orderly with construction work? i beg the governor is obviously alone and that project doesn't look like there is any Engineer, supervisor around. More like photoshoot though, he just wanted to point cause that's what others do in situations like this. Actors everywhere ![]() |
Everybody talking about Bill Gates should be more concerned about the fact that our reputation is so terrible out there. Pick out his points on wastage, corruption, channeling funds into the right things at the wrong time that our leaders are used to, but most importantly wasting scarce funds on things even when they don't need to. Hold your Government/leaders responsible for the bad reputation, not Bill Gates. |
Stevenbright:It's hers, the NIMC and the bank found a way to get you your number even without you registering physically for the NIN using your BVN. I have been using my line since 2006 and never enrolled for the NIN till date but i still got a number when i tried the NIMC ussd code with the same line i used for the BVN registration. Stop assuming she is wrong without enough knowledge of the subject matter. |
Part of the problem in Nigeria is the fact that we have too many full time politician. They play politics before, during and after the elections, and worst of all, they still play even more politics far into their tenure that they barely have time for the people they are meant to govern hence the very slow progress we experience. After the election, they should learn to leave politics in the background and concentrate more on deliverig good governance to the people. |
I hope it won't spoil for at least 5 years? . It's becoming even far more expensive to keep up this days, thanks to the Dollar-Naira exchange rate. Wahala for who dey shout apple or nothing ![]() |
