Why is Osaze Odemwingie's name missing? I think the guy scored about 12 goals last season, though 5 goals below Aiyegbeni. I think I prefer Osaze to Yakubu anyday; He has come a long way from being an attacker to a full-blown striker. 1 Like |

I think I prefer Osaze to Yakubu anyday; He has come a long way from being an attacker to a full-blown striker. I only took the Nigerian scorer in each league. I may be crazy enough to list the top Nigerian scorer in each league, but I won't go as far as to list EVERY Nigerian scorer in each league Although - if I'm bored I might just... |

maclatunji: So, Yakubu is Nigeria's best striker at the moment. Can we get a midfielder that will give the guy quality passes so that he can score goals for the Super Eagles? The guy has been Nigeria's most consistent striker for about 7-8 years now. Tnks for lettin them know |

marutimon: The stats suggest to me that our main strikers should be a combination picked from the above. Kalu Uche can be converted to support striker if not playing offensive midfield. marutimon: And this batch should be outside chances we can test in friendlies. |

Apparently got this one wrong. Obinna Obiefule is Nigeria's top goalscorer in Europe premier divisions with 34. Not the biggest league, but still... Malta Topscorer / African Topscorer: Obinna Obiefule (Nigeria) 34 goals |
