Just 3 months after losing Dr Femi Adekanye, here goes another eminent old boy(and former president of old boys association) of our alma mater, Offa Grammar School. Adieu Oba Oladele Olasore. First time I saw him live was when I was in JSS1 in 1994, when he presided over Old boys annual conference held in our secondary school.

Apparently he died in London...my home town is not far from Iloko we heard he died even before it was announced. Awa aye ma lo kan o si, oba waja! Sun re oo, Oladele Olashore!!!

Sleep after Toil, Port after Stormy sea, Ease after War and Death after Life does greatly please. Adieu Oba Oladele Olashore Theophilus, after a life of hard, honest toil. You are my role model even in death. Reading your autobiography, 'Joy of Service' in my school library in my undergrad years make me cry, albeit of your brilliance!! My fond memories of you are indelible. I am toiling your part already and as a Chartered Accountant now, I know God will give me succes just as He gave you to impact my world too.
