monin all, nobody is saying anytin about weda its true dat cbn hav started sending offer letter on d just concluded IT interview,culd d earlier post b a hoax!!! cos if its true by now sombody in house shuld hav heard somtin, pls update us

I have confirmed from an inside source and he said there is no such thing as sending of letters just yet. What he said though is that CBN usually does recruitment on a per need basis but as for this generally advertised recruitment, it is very likely early next year that letters would start to be issued. I think the people abigwari referred to as receiving letters are not part of this IT recruitment advertised in February. Lets wait and see at least very soon we would be clear on this.

i suppose they have not completed the interview phase coz the batch that wrote the test on Sept. 22 are still awaiting the interview call. I STAND TO BE CORRECTED

A friend just called this evening that he got an invite for interview for the 27th of this month.
I wrote my test with this guy the same day-30-06-2012 but had my own interview on the 8th of October.
Please is interview still on? If yes, then when are they going to complete it? How many people are they looking for?...?

Yes its true some interviews are still being conducted though not sure of the departments. It just shows that they may not finish till December. I guess it wld be by january or february 2013 that they may start to issue employment letters. About the numbers to be recruited I have no info. Total staff strength of CBN is just a little above 5,000. My guess is probably an intake of 200-300

the HR department have been very busy since October. They started with the School cert. holders, traveling from one state to the other, and later with the IT professionals which is obviously taking time but will sooner or later take on the applicants for different positions in the other directorates in the bank.

I Confirmed that the interview is not for the northern part but for branch office staff and offer letters will be sent in the next 2 weeks, probably between 17th - 21st Dec..

@smart57 the interview conducted from september to ist week of november is for IT staff who will be in CBN headquaters, but the ones conducted from 2nd week of november to Ist of December is for IT support staff who will be sent to CBN branches across the country..

@ Smart57 The info is very reliable..for each position advertised they will take 3 people, so approximately 200 people will be taken in all.as for the offer letters,it will be sent in d next 2 weeks n early January..The training 4 d new intake will also be done january 2013

@lapcat2000 rememba about 30 positions where advertise so if 3 wil b employ per position it den means 90 wil b employed N not 200! And I also heard d employment wil b done based on character commsn daz fair representn frm all states.
