Provide details of what you have done exactly. Are you running a Linux server or this is WAMP/XAMP etc on Windows? Suggestion that has proven to work for some: Go to the my.ini file and change the setting for mysql socket = "MySQL" to "/tmp/mysql.sock", go over to php.ini and do the same change. 1 Like |

goto C:/wamp/bin/ And delete everything there then install the wamp server again |

Use your system administrative account login/privilage to use your wamp server not ordinary user. |

There is a possibility d wamp setup is corrupt. Go to add / remove programs , uninstall d setup then also delete d wamp folder in ur program files (BE VERY CAREFUL HERE), and get a fresh installation folder. Make sure u enter d right parameters during installation Best |

By default, the wamp installation folder is installed on the OS partition which in most cases is drive C:. So the wamp folder you are to delete is at C:\wamp |
