I'll keep it simple and sweet.

2014
Aregbesola loses his bid for a second term to the PDP due to his gross underperformance. This leads to a domino effect in which Tinubu's defacto number two engaes in a furious legal battle, while the many opponents and enemies he has garnered with his quixotisms and megalomania sieze the opportunity to unleash volleys of poisoned arrows.
The fallout from that lose could prove epic.

2015
Creaking at the seams from the loss of Osun, ACN loses its regional potency and its alliance plans with CPC fray and unravel.
The emotional chasms caused by the choosing of candidates in Ogun and Oyo take as much a toll as the non-performance of their governors (airconditioned footbridges and all). It is well known that the PDP only lost both these states due to internal warfare; even with several PDP men squaring it out using proxy political platforms, the results were still menacingly close. Think what the new found unity of the SW PDP would acheive.
Summary - Ogun and Oyo fall to the PDP with Ekiti not far behind.

Final result:
Osun - PDP
Oyo - PDP
Ogun - PDP
Ekiti - PDP?

There is one proviso in all these permutations. If Edo state falls to the PDP, then give up, 2015 will see ACN go the way of AD.

I wonder why some cannot simply engage their brains.
All hail NURTW! grin

Guy's, the matter is simple. I've made my permutations intelligently, try to emulate me instead of coming across like people who would proudly fight in public when faced with matters of a cerebral nature.
Thank you.

Beaf, why not APGA or Labour in the SW come 2015? I wonder what makes you think a Misfiring PDP will impress the people from behind the scene in 2015. Except the PDP you re talking of is not the same People's Democratic Party we all know already. If anything, the people of states like Delta are eagerly waiting for the likes of Ogboru to mount the seat of power in anticipation of better governance . . .

My friend, go again and look at the gubernatorial election results of 2010. See how close they were? Next consider all the infighting in the Ogun and Oyo PDP chapters and you would realise that they are both very firmly PDP states. PDP's factionilisation in those states gifted them to ACN, no miracles there.

For Osun, Aregbesola has been recognised as an ugly blot and a political error and the people now fondly recall the times of Oyinlola. No need guessing how that would go.

Ekiti is in the balance.

They're already planning their rigging. . . .

The same SW who voted against PDP before will do so again.

What good candidate does PDP has to offer? Name them and their qualifications.

Just a suggestion based on no fact but personal assumption.

GEJ must really need SW for 2015.

PDP Parties of thieves and stolen funds

Re: Spoiler In The Crystal Ball - Political Map Of The SW In 2015 by Nobody: 4:13am On Jun 22, 2012
Previous governors of Ekiti state

+ Oni (PDP) - Oni left N30b banks, contracts debts. During Oni's term, his VC allegedly stealing N91m.
+ Oni spent 70 per cent of the income of the state on recurrent expenditure, leaving a paltry 30 per cent for capital projects.
+ N30 billion debts left behind by the Oni government

Where is Oni now? The man is chopping jollof rice under one his million naira mansions. Where are the stolen funds? Didn't Mr. President at one time "vow" to get back stolen funds from conniving politicians?

Fayose (Previous PDP Govenor of Ekiti State who is currently planning on campaigning for PDP again)

+ Impeached
+ Had his home sealed by EFCC
+Thief, ole barawo
+ Accused and found guilty of embezzling state funds
+ No development
+ Uncompleted contracts
+Father of starting political mischieves in Ekiti state during election
+Plans on contesting for Governor in Ekiti state against Mr. Fayemi
+ STOLE STATE FUNDS TO PURCHASE MANSIONS ACROSS NIGERIA, esp his famous mansion in Banana Island, Lagos.

Beware of PDP thieves and rogues

Where are these thieves now?

One is enjoying his life in his mansions paid with Ekiti-Funds. Another is planning on his campaign for Ekiti seat against Fayemi.

What a shame. So much for "I vow to deal with political culprits". Abi how did GEJ's useless vows go again?

Where is Ekiti's stolen funds? Yet someone is praying that we settle for the same thief. Oniranu and his useless dirty crystal nuts.

So far, he has been quite dull and underwhelming. That might not be enough to unseat a politician anywhere in Nigeria though; there is a chance that Ekiti will not swing PDP.

Guy, this is merely a statement of faith.
Facts on the ground have both Oyo and Ogun as very firmy PDP territory which they only lost due to infighting; then there is the pathetic governance of Aregbesola that has the people longing for Oyinlola and all but guarantees the return of Osun too to PDP.

Vote PDP and you'll frequently see this in your Governor's resident

People in the SW need to vote wisely.

Enough political rogues on NL who are shamelessly trying to make it seem as if SW favors PDP.

Where are the facts? Is the fighting over now? Crises are normal in any political setting but the ability to manage such crises does not exist within SW PDP. Contrary to PDP propaganda, Aregbesola is not performing badly in Osun state. If Oyinlola was that popular, why did he fail to win senatorial election even within his small senatorial district?

Yes, the PDP infighting is over now in Oyo and Ogun states. As for Aregbesola? Lol! His performance is abysmal, speak to people who live in Osun; that state is certainly going back to PDP like Oyo and Ogun.

Why are you engaging the mindless slowpoke in any "normal person" conversation. Don't you see what he is doing? Trying to pretend an interest in a real conversation by putting a question mark on Ekiti. I suggest you look at his previous posts, and see that he is completely irredeemable.

Let me break it down for Beaf and his cohort of headless chickens.

Even if the ACN governors that just assumed leadership did not perform to expectation, that would be no reason to vote for PDP in the SW. PDP has ruled longer than these new governors with only two things to show for it: CORRUPTION AND THUGERY.

ACN can always point to the actions of Fashola and Oshiomole that have had a good amount of time in the saddle, and the ongoing initiatives of even these new governors as basis for their reappointment.

PDP has nothing to show - even in the home state of the president and that of the eternal-fool of a poster, filled-up as they are with oil funds, they turn out to be zero. PDP and its sympathizers discussing performance is like the lion giving lessons in vegetarianism.

Beaf and his political-thiefs are out only to do the only job they know how to do - rob and steal votes. They will lose their forearms in the cookie-jar.

Lord Have Mercy.

ACN won Osun state 100% in the last election. It is the only state in SW where PDP and Jonathan is wholly rejected.
Thats a clear signal that PDP is not welcomed in the state.
Aregbesola met N18 Billion bank debt and many contractor debts which almost choked the incomng administration.
The Ogbeni Governor started re-organising the finances of the state.
As it stands today,Regional Mkt is being built in Dagbolu,International MKT is built in Oshogbo,
Inter-state roads are being built across the state, Model schools are being built to re-place "poultry"-like
structures of the Oyinlola years.Osun indigenes are enjoying a prudent and purposeful administration.

Oshiomole will be overwhelmingly returned in Edo state.
He has done more in 3 years than PDP achieved in 11.

Oyo and Ekiti states will never return to PDP.
Ajimobi is constructing bridges which GEJ refused to fix after the disastrous flood.
Most important is the serene atmosphere which the affairs of the state is being run compared to the
violent, thuggery and aggressive tempo of the Akala years.

Fayemi is being over-prudent on Ekiti resources because of the huge debt he met.
PDP is completely absent in the state because of Fayemi#s purposeful leadership.
he is implementing his education devt program, building schools, roads etc to improve the lives of the people.

Its going to be next to impossible for PDP to take the south west. However ACN is unlikely to retain Oyo state. Does anyone remember the legend that no king rules ibadan twice. If u look back at history u can see every democratically elected governor only rules once. Bola Ige, Olunloyo, lam adesina, Akala,...
