About his cold and cough. She said I should get vitamin c and bells baby cough syrup (but I am not getting the cough syrup because I know he is still very small for that)

So I was thinking maybe I should get piriton syrup because that was what a doctor almost prescribed when the cough couldn't stop awhile back.

What do you mamas think please

I don't really agree. I think babies need their mouths cleaned daily including their tongues. I used that baby toothbrush before getting a rough washcloth. It removed the white milk residue.

Not daily Mama. I was advised by a Paed not to do it daily and use cotton wool throughout. No tooth paste.

Naso I enter Jumia and was searching for diaper. Pampers premium dey dia for 1420 for 36pcs size 3. no delivery charges attached. for mamas interested.

Wow. Thanks a lot. I didn't know that. My baby's mouth used to smell and had that white stuff even for the two months he was on that's why I felt it should be daily. My oyibo doctor said so but I felt n.a. for oyibo pikin. Cotton wool when a baby but by the time he is reaching 4/5 months, I don't think it's enough.

Toothpaste should be fluoride free for 1 year and should start when they start growing teeth. Hope that's okay.

Baby piriton is fine. That's what the paed gave my son a while back and it worked ( that's before we discovered he had a more serious wahala.

Ive learnt my lesson seriously. Next time I'm dragging dh to the wholesale area. This my side no get pass molfix.

I support you because i do not see any reason why you will wash their mouth at those tender age. I do not wash my own baby mouth too. I just started at six month now just using wash cloth with warm water.

I used to do it until my son's paed stopped me. She talked about distorting the normal flora that had the cleansing potentials bla bla bla..... I just let it go jare, for my daughter.. I didn't bother. I got this toothpaste for my son but I've kept it for her since it's fluoride free and safe if swallowed.

my baby had lil rashes on her neck and shoulders and baby tribotan cleared it in 2-3 days. hers was caused by heat and not allergies.
Rising raving powder is also good (i have used it b4), but add little water and make it as a paste b4 u apply to ur baby's body.

how old is ur baby? how long ago did he u use the piriton?? I don't like to give drugs without a dr's prescription.
For the cold, u can keep administering vitamin C...if he is ebf, u can take oranges and other fruits rich in vit C and he wil get it from ur breast.milk

I've used it twice...first time was a gift from someone and it was very nice, so I went to buy it to replace molfix. still on it now. we've had no issues so far.
I'd advice u to buy a single pack and try first....if it works well, then u can buy in bulk (that's if u do so normally)
