If you go to sanusi fafunwa by karimu Ikotun junction,you will see a cripple controlling trffic and even doing it more than lastma officials.i dont know why lagos state Government has refused to place these people on salary rather than paying all those lastma people who specializes in gossips. |

Why shld dey remove d mentally challenged man when he proves useful 4 insane motorist. if d man dey butcher pple den it's different. if he is removed at all, it shld 4 treatment and not because he is challenged and deemed unfit to be useful in such situation. Have we forgotten d mentally challenged woman(a purported nurse frm Ekiti) dat delivered a fellow mentally challenged pregnant lady of a baby 2yrs ago. timbros: You probably didn't study it well. MMI was ranked the 7th busiest in Africa for 2008, 2009 and 2010 consecutively and right there they stated that the statistics for 2011 is incomplete which could explain why several airports are missing from 2011 table. MMI is 7th while Nnamdi Azikiwe airport was ranked 11th in 2010 in Africa after airports in Egypt, South Africa and Morocco. If you check well you'll discover that no other airport in West Africa was in top 20 since 2008 except the Senagalese airport in 19th position in 2008 but disappeared afterward. |

Whoever passes through the bridge that links Oshodi Apapa Express road to the international airport road around 4pm will notice a constant hold-up on the bridge which sometimes blocks the entire expressway (opposite Ladipo spareparts market) that is usually because a madman is doing the job of LASTMA. This has been on for more than one year now and I keep wondering if the Lagos State govt is oblivious of that.

Point of correction, the traffic hold up is as a result of pedestrians from ladipo trying to cross the road (an express road). Please note that LASTMA are not suppose to be on express roads because it is believe that the road should be free flowing. Now bus drivers are adding to the situation by stopping to pick up these pedestrians and contributing more to the problem. Ideally, Oshodi-Apapa express road should be free, but people have turned ladipo to an artificial busstop. Hence, the traffic. Likewise, I don't think a insane person would be controlling traffic, probably a homeless man who is seeking for daily bread. LASTMA should chase the bus drivers stopping at Ladipo. Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) should arrest pedestrians crossing the express road in ladipo and charge them to court. The traffic situation would stop. Simple. 1 Like |
